I slept through most of the drive south- I was so tired lately! I was snuggled in Alec’s arms. When I finally woke up, we were nearly there, and I was well rested and wired. I yawned hugely and Alec chuckled. “Welcome back, sleeping beauty,” Aric murmured. “Thank goodness! I could barely stand the snoring,” Alec teased. I glared at him blushing. “Fine, you don’t snore, I admit it!” Alec huffed, kissing the tip of my nose. I looked out the window. We were driving through rolling grasslands. I could see a town in the distance with some large factories. We passed a lot of vineyards; they had a lot of success in this area due to the sandier soil. My stomach growled impatiently.
