Lexi's POV
I wake with a large muscled arm drapped across my torso, where it touches little sparks erupt on my skin.
Knowing that it, my mate makes my push it off me quickly. This makes him stand up in a pounce position, ready to kill anything.
He brings his eyes towards me, and the realisation hits him his body begins to soften.
although his eyes stay they same black, I notice there are some slithered Golding streaks in them.
" Are you okay?" his voice sounds so different, more ruggered than I member, I nod. His eyes finally shift to his normal colour.
" Sorry if i scared you," he whispered before he sat back down.
" What was that? I've never seen anything like that, " I whispered.
he shakes his head.
" Please tell me, if we are going to make this work, i need to know everything.
