Chapter 8

Ambers POV

We calmed down, after crying our eyes out with what Sophia told us. I had no idea that she made Stephano forgive and reunit with his parents, she never told us about it, but I guess she had her reasons for not doing telling us and looks like she did good. 

We were going to leave, until we came face to face with the one person we weren't expecting to see in three days. Stacey was here, with her parents and looked at us with a disgusted look, but replaced it with a seductive smile when she saw Drake and came walking towards us. Sophia ran behind him, which surprised me and probably my sisters and my two friends. Stacey stopped a few inches and glared at her with a frown, but forced a smile and said "Drake baby you have a little pest behind you." Which won her some low growls from me and the others.

I looked at Drake, which I saw looking behind him at Sophia, and gave her a gentle smile before turning to Stacey with a frown and shrugged "and, she isn't doing anything is she?" He asked crossing his arms. This is the second time he surprised me in defending Sophia from her that my eyes would probably pop out of my face soon, with how wide they are.

Stacey frowned and looked at us and said "and I also see your with the two birthday losers and the other pathetic wolves with the witch." "And your point is?" He asked, arms still crossed and narrowing his eyes at her. She was going to say something until her parents came "Aaah, Amber it's so nice to see you here and I see you brought your sisters here to, with some friends of yours, but where is Sophia?" Stacey's mom said looking for Sophia and saw her behind Drake, she seemed surprised to see Drake here and Mr. Walker said "young prince, what brings you here with alpha Aarons daughters and their friends?"

"Not much." He said shrugging "he came here with his parents to help organize for Daphnes and Brittneys birthday party in three days." Willow said "and may I ask what brings you and your family here, Alpha Damon?" I asked "aah, well your father called yesterday and asked if we could come as soon as possible, to also help with planing your sisters party, he said that Stacey was always a good party planner when it comes to this things." He said smiling, while the she-devil gave a wicked smirk.

I clenched my chaw, while trying to maintain my forced smile. 'I can't believe our dad told them to come today, when he god damn knows how much we hate and despise her!' Midnight said furious, while Aurora added 'what was he thinking? Is he trying to put Sophia in danger with the devil herself!!' 'I don't know what he was thinking, but we better make sure she doesn't try any funny business with Sophi.

"Oh, Drake baby, why don't you join us for supper, I heard that this place has great food, that why you can spend time with me and not with.." She looked at us up and down and was about to say something rude, but remembered that her parents were here so instead she said with a fake smile "alpha Aarons daughters." 

I was going to say he already aet with us, to that stupid s**t, but Drake beat me to it saying "no thanks, I already aet with Amber and the others. We were just leaving actually." She clenched her chaw at that "oh but, you must still be hungry, besides, being with them can make you lose your appetite." She said and her parents told her to behave, but she rolled her eyes and started to walk to him seductively and said "and also you don't have to look at the little runt, that's behind you anymore." And she put her hand on his chest.

I was starting to get angry. 'How dare she touch mate!!!' Aurora growled scratching out to take control. I saw that her mom was going to give her a warning, but was surprised at someone saying "h-he said th-that h-h-his al-ready eat-en s-so stop b-bothering him, St-stacey." Sophia said coming out a bit from behind him.

She stood up to her, Sophia stood up to Stacey. We stared at her, wide eyed, but Stacey was looking at her, furious "why you little..." She was going to slap her, but stopped midaire when someone cleared their throat behind us. We turned around and saw that Stephano came, giving a death glare to Stacey, who put her hand and head down. "Mr and Mrs Walker, I presume?" He asked, with his arms crossed and eyebrows narrowed.

Maria came by his side and was glaring at Stacey to. Alpha Damon and Luna Samantha both nodded their heads "if you and your daughter want to eat in my restaurant, I suggest you two keep her controlled and two not insult my little friend and her sisters if you don't want me to call security and have you three escorted out of the premises." He said, more to Stacey then to her parents.

She looked at him in disbelief "seriously! A famous restaurant owner is friends with the..." She was cut off by her dad saying "Stacey that's inof!! I'm terribly sorry for my daughters behavior, sir, she doesn't know how to speak properly, you know how teenagers are." He said apologizing to Stephano. He nodded and looked at Sophia with a resuring smile "hope to see you soon, Sophi, me and Maria enjoy your company." He said.

She nodded, while holding on to Drakes sleeve, probably for comfort and we left them, with Stacey giving us a glare. Once outside, I turned to Sophia, to see if she was ok. She let Drakes sleeve go and let out a shake breath. "Man Sophia!! You finally stood up to that s**t of a she-wolf. That was f**king incredible!! I mean did you see her face!!" Brittney said laughing at what happened a little while.

"Yeah Sophia that was awesome of you to tell her to back of and stop bothering me." Drake said with honesty in his voice, which made Sophia look down blushing with a grin on her adorable little face. I chuckled and said "ok guys, leave her alone before you embarrass her even more." And with that being said, we went to the van and drove back to the pack house to get ready to deal with the devil tomorrow, at school.

Unknown POV

Our plan landed a few hours ago and my sister called a cab to pick us up, to go and stay at a hotel for a while, so that we could look for a house to live in. Once the cab arrived at the hotel, my sister payed him and we went inside. After we payed for a one night stay, we went to our room and once inside it was really nice, with two separate beds, a bathroom and a balcony, with a view of the city.

We settled in and ordered room serves. I jumped on my bed, face first, and turned on the flat screen TV it had as well. "Ok let's see if I can find any available houses we could get for a low price." My sister said. I looked at her to see that she had her laptop out, looking for possible houses near the schools we need to go to. I went back to looking at a random movie I put on, but turned to her again, when she found something. She turned her laptop to me, showing me a picture of a two story house "it's cheap and close to the middle school you'll be going to, a two minute drive to the university and it has a woods near by, so we could go for runs in our wolf parasites and is also a bit secluded from near by packs." She said excited.

I smiled "that's perfect. We could leave our stuff and have a look at it tomorrow in the evening once we finish our first day of school." I said hopefully and with that, she called the number on the website to book an appointment in the afternoon.

After that, our food came and we dug in. Tomorrow will be a good day I just know it.

      ~~The Next Day~~

I woke up excited to start school and to see if I'll find that girl with baby pink eyes, that I'm going to protect. I still don't know who she is, but I'll see if she in la misma escuela as me.

I got out of bed to take a shower, but looks like Bryss (my sister) had the idea first, cuz the shower was on. "Hurry up Bryss, so I can get ready for school!" I shouted banging the door. She came out, already dressed for school and a towel rapped around her hair "calmado hermanito, no need to make a fuse." She said chuckling and getting out of the bathroom.

I got in and took a quick shower. Once done I came out in boxers and went to my suitcase for some clothes. I put one a white shirt with my logo and a picture of my wolf parasites on it, dark blue skinny jeans and some light blue Vans. I combed my hair and got my stuff to leave them down stairs in the lobby. When we got to the lobby, we told the receptionist that we will come for our luggage after school.

My sister rented a car, to drive us to school. She dropped me of at the middle school first and drove off to her first day at 'SUS'. I went inside and saw that everyone stopped chatting and looked at me with curiousness. I ignored it and went to look for the office, were I'm supposed to get my schedule at.

The bell rang for classes to start and everyone left. I was left alone in the now empty hall, with no idea were I was going, until someone bumped into me from behind. I turned and took a defense stance, but relax when I saw that it was an elf and to what it looks like he was a hybrid of a normal elf and a dark elf, which was cool. "Oh sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going! A friend of mine left to our class without me and I was running to catch up with her." He said apologizing, while rubbing his head.

"No problem, I was actually trying to find my way to the office for my schedule." I said to him with a smile. He seemed nice, but I shouldn't let my guard down, who knows what this elf is capable of. He had short blond hair with black on the edges, biocolor eyes, one is gray and the other I blue and had pale skin. He was wearing a Pokémon yellow shirt with pickachus face on it, navy blue skinny jeans and cool slenderman sneakers. "Oh, your a new student?" He asked.

I nodded "if you want I can show you where it is of course." He offered. I hesitated at first, but said "sure, I guess, thanks" and with that he led me to the reception office and we walked inside. The receptionist was really nice. She gave me my schedule and locker combination.

I thanked her and left the office, with the elf behind me, I looked at my schedule and saw that I had biology first "oh, looks like you have the same classes as me and my friend. Come on I'll take you there, at least it will be a good excuse for being late for me." He said grinning, which made me laugh, 'I guess that was his dark elf side talking for him.' Sweetly said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Thanks, Ummm..." I honestly didn't know his name. He stretched out his hand and said "Raven" I grabbed his hand and shook it "Renzo" I said to him.

We went to our classroom and he opened the door " sorry I'm late sir, I was helping a new student in showing him the place." Raven said and got in, with me following him, then I felt a strange aura ingulf me. It was very powerful and calming, 'what was that?' Sweetly said in a hushed voice 'I don't know buddy.' I said to him also confused. "That's alright Mr Fincx. You may sit down now." The teacher said and Raven went to sit down next to a girl who has her head down.

"Will you going to introduce yourself young man or are you going to stand there all day?" The teacher said, bringing me back to reality "oh um, yes..sorry." I said and walked in front of the teachers desk to look at the other students. I was nervous, but cleared my throat and introduced myself "umm, hi, uh, my name is Renzo Luque and I'm 15. I lived in Peru with my older sister, but we moved here for a better start. I make digital art work, but I want to be a graphic designer." I said nervously, but calmed down suddenly by that aura.

"Alright, you may take the empty seat next to Mr Fincx. Ah and also welcome to America." The teacher said and I walked to the seat he pointed to. There were some girls that were looking at me with lust, but others were looking at my crisalis looking arms and made me feel uncomfortable.

I sat next to Raven, who gave me a smile, which I returned and he turned to look at the teacher, who started the class. I looked over to the girl who was next to him, I guess she felt that I was looking at her, cuz she turned around and what I saw had me shocked. She was the girl the Moon Goddess told me to protect. She looked small, like 4'7, but what caught my attention were her glowing baby pink eyes, that showed she had power deep inside her, but I can tell that she wasn't of age to show them.

Her eyes stopped glowing and she looked away. Maybe I'll ask Raven what her name is, cuz it looks like she has trust issues with people.

Nathans POV

I got to school and walked over to Zack, who was waiting at the entrance of the University we go to. "Sup, Nath." He said and gave me a bro hug "so did you get a chance to talk to Amber, when her and the others got home or she didn't let you and told you to f** k off." He said laughing.

"Haha very funny Zack, I WILL talk to her, I just need to make sure that little runt doesn't get in the way." I said determined. I was always in love with Amber since we were kids, but she never saw me like the way I see her, cuz of the way me and Andrew treat her little sister. 'Well maybe if you'd stopped treating her sister like c**p, then maybe she would treat you different, like a friend, cuz she knows she is not our mate!!' My wolf, Thor, said 'Shut up!!! She is our mate she just doesn't know it yet, cuz of that pathetic runt!!' I shouted to him, which earned me a growl from him. 'Stop calling her that, what has she ever done to you, huh, did she insult you, did she do something to?!! That 'runt' is nothing but nice and sweet to the pack, but you and the others treat her like garbage!! It's no surprise that Amber doesn't talk to you, cuz your nothing than an asshole!!' He growled at me and went to the back of my mind. "Dumb mutt." I muttered.

Me and Zack were waiting for Drake to come, until we saw Amber park her car and she came out with Michael, the witch and Drake? 'Why did he come with her?' I thought to myself. They were talking for a bit and came to the entrance, until they saw us. I gave her a smile, but she gave me a disgusted look and walked in with the others following her.

I guess she's still mad for yesterday, stupid runt, she ruined my chance to talk to Amber. Zack called out to Drake, who turned around. He looked at Amber, who shrugged and came to us "what's up, guys" he said motioning us to hurry up "dude why didn't you come with Stacey, who told us she saw you at the pack." Zack asked. He shrugged and said "cuz I'm in the same classes as Amber, so it's reasonable for me to come with her, right?" He said mattet-of-factly and left to go to class.

What has gotten into him lately, he started acting weird, when he meet Amber, 'what if.. No Amber would never want a playboy for a mate. Besides she's mine and mine only' i said to myself and left Zack to my photography class. I always wanted to be a photographer, but I never told dad, cuz he always wanted me to be more like him, so I tell him I'm studying for industrial engineering, which is not true.

 Once inside, I went to my seat and sat down. The teacher came a few minutes later and said we have a new student joining us and it turns out it's a chick, who lived in Peru. The teacher said at the the person at the door, probably the new girl, to come in. The door opened and I was suddenly hit with the most breath taking scent of pineapples and sunflowers. I looked at the door to see a gorgeous girl walk in and went to the front of the class, facing the room and introduced herself with a sweet voice "Hi, I'm Bryss Luque. I'm 18 years old and came to this country with my little brother and I hope to make some friends."

Once she finished, the teacher told her to sit in the empty seat next to me. She sat down and the teacher started the class, I looked at her, to see her features closely. She had long black hair with sandy yellow highlights, pale skin and plume pink lips. She was wearing a white short sleeved crop top, with four yellow lines on it, dark blue skinny jeans and black boots with an image of two sandy yellow butterflies on them.

What caught my attention more were her arms, man they look so f**k awesome, their like a cool black looking crisalis with sandy yellow swirles and two sandy yellow like feathers on her ristes. She looked at me with the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. One of them was black with inner and outer sandy yellow circles and the other one was a normal one, but the iris was the same color as the black one.

Then my wolf said the one thing I never thought I would hear, but was afraid to even think about. 'MATE!!' and she gave me a small smile before looking back to the front. 'Shit.'

Drakes POV

Once the bell rang for lunch, me, Amber and Jane went to the cafeteria to eat and discuss about what we might add to the diorama we were making, with Sophias help of course, until "Drake what are you doing with this losers, I thought you were going to join us." I turned around, annoyingly and saw Stacey walking towards us with Nathan next to her, looking kinda off for some reason.

I looked at Stacey and said to her "sorry Stac, but I think I'll be sitting with Amber for a while, we're going to talk about the project the teachers left us, sooo..bye." I said and left her standing with her mouth opened, while Nathan was looking around a bit nervous, I wonder why?

I sat down next to Amber, until we heard a female Spanish accent behind us "hi, can I sit with you guys?" We turned around to see a girl, who looked cool, standing with her tray in hand. "Sure, are you new here?" Amber asked, while scouting over for the new girl to sit. She smiled and said "Thanks and yes I am new, I moved here with my little brother from Peru. We were actually going to look at a house, that is a two minute drive here." She said.

"Do you have a name?" The guy, who I learned his name was Michael, asked the new girl "yes, my name is Bryss Luque." She said introducing herself "Hi Bryss I'm Amber and this are my friends. Michael, Jane and Drake." I flinched a bit when she said we were 'friends', but I brushed it off. Besides I already have something planned for the both of us, later.

"Nice to meet you, I hope we could be friends." Bryss said hopefully. Once school ended, me, Amber and the others were heading to her car when I was pulled away by a pair of hands on my arm. "Drake, how about you ride with me. We could go somewhere more...private." Stacey said seductively. I pulled my hand and said "No can do Stacey I have other things to do, like doing homework, plus I'll be busy with something later." And with that I left to go with Amber, who was staring at me surprised, all I did was smile at her and got in the car.

Once we arrived at the pack house, we saw that the warriors were on high alert for some reason. We got out of the car and saw that Ambers dad was outside, waiting for us. "Thank goodness your here." He said relieved. "Dad? What's going on?" Amber asked from behind. "There have been rouge sightings near our territory. We don't know how many, but it would be best if you kids stay inside the pack house, until everything is clear." Alpha Aaron said.

'Damnit, I was going to take Amber for a picnic in the forest later, but now I can't, cuz of the damn rouges.' I said to Brock 'so what are we going to do now?' He asked. I thought for a sec, until said 'how about if we ask Sophia for help. Maybe she has an idea.' 'That sounds good, now let's go find her.' He said and I walked in through the door to see if I could find her, she probably must be in her room, so I went up the stairs to go to her room, but I ran into Nathan, who looked a bit off. "Oh hey Drake, where are you going?" He asked.

"Umm, to Sophia's room to...finish the project I have with Amber and Jane." I said nervously. 'Looks like someone's already Whipped.' Brock said snickering 'shut up' "really? Why do you need the runts help and I don't know why your doing it with Amber?" He asked "dude you don't know squat about the so called 'runt', so stop talking about her like that man!" I said angry at him.

He doesn't even know the amazing things she does and he keeps saying she's weak, it's making my sick. "Chile dude, no need to get mad over the runt. Oh and I wanted to tell you that Amber and I are mates and we've been in love ever since, she just doesn't know it yet." He said with a smirk, that I wanted to whip from his face.

I walked away from him, furious, I know the mate thing is a lie, but she never told me she was in love with him, I thought that he hated him for the way he treats her little sister. Was all the caring and the things she said about Sophia, a lie, was it all an act? 'No! Don't judge mate so fast. You know as much as I do that she really cares for Sophi. Don't let what that i***t told you get in the way of us being with mate.' Brock said, anxious.

'Maybe I should ask Sophia about Amber, if what Nathan said is true, then I might have to reject her.' I said to him sadly. He whimpered in response, before I cut him off and went to Sophia's room. I knocked on her door and heard a come in, I popped my head in and saw that Amber, Jane and Sophia were already working on the landscape of the model.

They looked at me, but my eyes were on Amber, who gave me that breath taking smile of hers. I wanted to whip it off, but I know better then to do that in front of her sister, who was staring at me with worried eyes, I guess from the expression I have on my face. I cleared my throat and said "uh Sophi, can I talk to you for a minute? I need to ask you something personal." I said. She nodded her head in confusion, got up and came with me outside and downstairs, to a more private spot.

"Ugh, what is it that you wanted to ask, Drake?" She asked me a bit uncomfortable, by the fact we are alone. I took a deep breath and asked her the one question that I wanted to ask first. "Has uhh, has Amber been in love with Nathan..Sophi?" I was trying to hold myself together. She looked at me, with her eyes wide with surprised by my question, but softened and she did the one thing I hadn't expected her to do, she gave me a hug.

I was surprised at first, but relaxed and returned the hug, which I needed honestly. She pulled away and what I saw made me regret asking that stupid question. She had tears in her eyes, which she whipped away and said in a shake breath "wh-who told you that lie. Amber was never in love with Nathan, she hates him for the things he does to me. Why would you think differently about how she feels about him and me." Her tears were still falling from her baby pink eyes and I saw pure honesty in them. 'I told you to not let what that asshole said get to you, but do you ever listen to me, no.' Brock said angry 'okay, okay, I get it, Sophi is right and Nathan is a god damn lier. Happy now.' I said to him, annoyed, until I heard Sophia giggle a bit.

I looked at her confused, but she shook her head and said "is that all you wanted to ask me or is there something else?" "Oh, uh, well umm, I wanted to ask for a favor or advice?" I said nervously "abouuut?" She asked "umm, well I was planning on taking Amber for a small picnic in the woods, but that plan was ruined by the rouges appearing close to your territory." She stiffened at that "uhh, so I was going to ask if you had any ideas on where to take her?" I said rubbing my head.

She smiled "like some sort of date?" She asked and I nodded, blushing a bit. She chuckled and said "how about you take her to Stephanos restaurant, I could tell him that it will be for the two of you. If you want I can come to, for support of course, that way you two can get a bit more closer." She said confident. That was, actually, a good idea, I was sure my eyes would pop out of my head soon. "You would really do that for me?" I asked still a bit surprised that she would do that for someone she barely knows. She nodded and said "of course, I can tell that you really like Amber a lot and you want to make her happy. I believe that you two will be perfect together and face the obstacles that will come your way, you just need to take it slowly and not rush things, other wise you'll regret it." What she said made sense, I DO like Amber a lot and I'll do anything to make her happy, but if we're going to become official we need to take it one step at a time. "OK, so can you call Stephano now for the date?" I asked sheepishly. She chuckled and nodded, while getting her phone out.

Well, this should go smoothly, I hope.
