Chapter 10

Renzos POV

I got home in a flash, just before they could ask me questions of who am I or something like that. I made it just in time to kill that vampire that was kidnapping Sophia. Your probably wondering how I know her name, right? Well, let me tell you that it was in a bad situation.

        ~~Flash Back~~

It was lunch time already, after three hours of class. I had my lunch tray in my hands and went to find Raven and the girl and saw that they were sitting by themselves. I went over to them, but was stopped by someone dragging me to another table and sat me down "hey your the new guy who moved here, right?" The girl, that was eyeing me up and down with lust said and I nodded uncomfortably, with the way she's staring at me.

Then the guy who was sitting next to her said "why were you going to sit with the runt and her freak elf friend. If I were you I'd stay away from them." I wonder why the said that "yeah, that little runt is bad news, plus she's just worthless to be with." Said a red head girl. I was getting a bit pissed at what they were saying and then the blonde next to me said something that really pissed me off "and she's also a little s**t, she almost slept with my boyfriend, Andrew, if her sister hadn't stoped her on time." She grabbed the guy next to her, Andrew, by the arm and gave him a disgusting kiss on the lips.

Man the way they kissed made me lose my appetite. Once they were done eating each other, Andrew said "hey and why not teach the little runt a less babe, besides she also needs to know her place after all." "That is a good idea baby, you should watch this, new guy it will be hilarious." She said and got up, with her drink in hand and went to Ravens and the baby pink eyed girl and what she did next was obviously not funny.

She poured her drink on the little 'runt', who screamed and jumped up from her seat. Everyone in the cafeteria, turned to see what happened and then Raven yelled at her "What the f**k Tiffany, Why'd you do that for!!!" They Blonde, Tiffany, just gave a smirk to the girl and then said innocently "oops, sorry about that, but I guess you deserved it for trying to sleep with MY boyfriend s**t and why do you even care Raven? You and me can be friends." She said and put her arms on him.

The girl went out crying, while the others laughed at her. Raven pushed Tiffany and looked at her with hatred and disgust "stop humiliting her, Sophia is incapable of doing that and tell your 'boyfriend' to stop telling lies about her!!!" He scream at her and went after Sophia shouting her name. I got up and was going after them, until Andrew said "hey, were are you going?" But the only thing I did was give him and his friends along with that Tiffany girl, who sat back down with a satisfied smirk and said "and why should I stay with a bunch of pathetic wolves who think their better then everyone else and treat those who are weak like trash."

They stared at me, with their mouths open for what I said to them and left to look for Raven and Sophia, who's scent leads out of school. I followed their scents deep in the woods, until I was in front of a beautiful water fall. The place was breath taking, but I snapped out of my it and looked around and saw that Raven and Sophia were sitting under a tree next to the lake.

Raven had her in his arms, cradling her, while she hugs him back crying. I went to them slowly. Raven saw me and gave me a small smile and motioned for me to come sit with them. I sat next to Sophia, who stiffened a bit, then relax, cuz she probably knows that I'm not a threat. "Are you ok?" I asked, she nodded and composed herself, before looking my way and gave me a sad smile.

"Does this happen to her alot?" I asked Raven and he nodded "their always like this to her, for no reason what so ever. Just cuz she was born like this. Andrew is the betas son of her pack and Tiffany cousins with the alphas daughter of the Golden Flower pack." He explains "Aah, they think their better because of ranks. And might I ask what rank are you?" I asked her, but she was hesitant at first, until she said in a quiet voice "I-i'm the al-alpha of the M-moon Sh-shine packs yo-youngest daughter." And I was shocked "Really, but why are those idiotas treating you like your some sort of omega?!" I asked a bit to loudly, which made her flinch.

"Sorry, its just that I don't understand why they treat you like dirt." I said calmly and gently, so I don't scare her. I'm supposed to protect her not scare her. "I-its ok, b-besides its wh-what Raven said, they do it, cuz the way I was born like this. A runt." She said sadly and laid her head on Ravens shoulder and he rapped an arm around hers. 'He really cares for her, doesn't he?' Sweetly asked 'yeah, I guess he does.'

We were all comfortable like this for a while, until we had to go back to classes. We were walking, until Sophia said "ooh I-i forgot to ask your name." I chuckled a bit and said "names Renzo." "He introduced himself a few hours ago Sophi." Raven said jokingly, which made her blush "r-really?" She stuttered. I nodded and she blushed even more, she looked adorable. "Haha, I guess I wasn't paying attention." She said and it looked like she wanted to cry again, but she didn't. I had no idea why, but I'll ask Raven that to.

Once we got back in inside school, everyone was already heading to class. I pulled Raven to the side and asked him "hey, you know I wanted to sit with you guys, but then that, Tiffany, girl pulled me to sit with her and the other kids, who I assume were the popular kids?" He nodded in understanting so I continued "and she told me that Sophia was bad news and worthless and that she tried to 'sleep' with her boyfriend." That got him pissed and he gave me a glare. "Hey I didn't believe them. I saw that she's innocent and all." I said and he relaxed.

"But" I paused for a minute thinking if I should ask him or not, but he insured me to continue, so I took a deep breath and said "you also said that he was lieing about that...what was he really going to do to her?" He seemed to take it personal, cuz he got mad again, but it wasn't for me, if not for Andrew. "I don't know if I should tell you, but it looks like you can be trusted." He said rubbing his head. He closed his eyes, trying to control his temper and said what I was afraid of "Andrew tried to r**e her." He said furious, but relax and said "but luckily one of her sisters, Amber, came and stopped him just in time." And with that he left, with me following behind him.

School ended fast, I was waiting for my sister, Bryss, until I saw Sophia by herself. I went to her, but stopped when I saw those show offs walking to her. "Oh look if it isn't the little s**t." Tiffany said in a mocking tone. "I don't w-want an-any trouble to-toda-y Tiffany, s-so can you g-guys leave m-me alone, p-p-please." Sophia said stuttering, but they just laughed and Andrew said "aww, the little runt said p-p-please. And why would we do that, you know we like to have fun with you, don't we guys?" And the others shouted in agreement.

He then pushed her and she fell with a thud. He was going to hit her, but I got there on time and flung him across the parking lot "dude what is your problem!" He shouted at me "No, what is your problem. What is she even doing to you guys that your treating her like this, huh?!" I shouted at them furious, I really hate people who hit othera for no reason what so ever. "Ha, are you serious or what? Why are you even defending her when she's just a worthless little..." Tiffany was saying, but was cut off by a loud growl, behind them. They turned around and froze in place, scared?

I looked to see what they were looking at and it was a girl, probably 17, coming up to them, with other two girls behind her. The three of them were looking at Andrew, Tiffany and there little friends with deadly glares. The girl with green eyes, who I supposed was the one that growled, said in a challenging tone "what were you going to say about our little sister b**h?" Tiffany looked scared a bit, but composed herself and said "that she's a worthless little runt and a s**t for trying to sleep with MY boyfriend." "Oh please, its obvious that she isn't that tip of person." I said and everyone turned to look at me. Los pendejos esos looked at me like I was crazy, while the three girls, who must be Sophias sisters, were looking at me with curiousness.

"Of course she's a w**e new guy, if she wasn't why were we..." Andrew was saying, but I gave him a punch in the face, which made him stumble backwards and look at me shocked "keep lieing about what you really tried to do with her and, not only will you have to deal with them." I pointed to Sophia's sisters, who looked like they were ready to kill Andrew for what he was going to say "but you'll also have to deal with me." I said with anger and added "and that goes for the rest of you perros." And with that they went of running scared.

I went to Sophia and helped her get up. "Th-thanks for helping me R-renzo." She said gratefully, "no ay de que, besides this are the tip of people that I despise the most." I said honestly, people who judge others for how they look, are just plan stupid. "Sophi." Said someone behind me. I turned to see the three girls that were standing there come to us.

"Sophi are you ok, did those assholes do anything to you?" The one with short hair said "no Willow I'm fine." "Are you sure, cuz if they even did.." The one with dark brown eyes said, but was cut off by Sophia saying "yes, I'm fine really. They were going to, until my friend here came and defended me." She gave me a grateful smile. "Really, well thanks for protecting our little sister, um..." The girl, Willow paused a bit "Renzo, Renzo Luque, I'm from Peru." I said introducing myself to Sophias sisters and they shook my hands, but the one with green eyes grabbed it and pulled me to get a closer look at my arms. "Woah, your arms are super cool and weird at the same time." She said in excitement. "How did your eye end like that? Its pretty amazing" the other one said checking my right eye with interest.

"Brittney, Daphne, leave him alone, your making him uncomfortable." Willow said scolding them, which is true that I feel incomodo, I mean no one has ever thought that my 'defects' were cool or interesting to look at, they always say that its some sort of infection or something like that. They twins left me alone with sheepish looks "sorry, its just that your arms and right eye look so cool." The one with green eyes said, which made me blush a bit "uuh, thanks, I guess?" It was more of a question then anything else.

I heard a small giggle and saw that it came from Sophia "well come on Sophi, we better get home soon. There have been rouges sighted near by and we don't want to run into them." Willow said and they were leaving, until Sophia turned around to face me "umm, do you need a ride home?" She asked "no thanks, I'll be living close to the school soon so its not that far." I said. She nodded and left with her sisters.

After that I sent one of my butterflies to go watch over her. I saw that she was helping other two girls and a guy with some sort of diorama, until they got up and went out the door and lost them, so I sent it at the front of the pack house. A few minutes later and they were out the door, but it was just Sophia, one of the girls and the guy and they were getting in a car, which looks to be a Lamborghini, 'luckys' I thought but shook it of 'focus you need to make sure nothing bad happens to Sophi, not get jealous of them having better cars.' I scolded myself.

Once I got to my new house, Bryss was already paying the guy selling it and then he left. She looked at me and smiled "hey bro, how was your first day of school?" She asked "it was fine I guess, until I had to defend a girl from the popular kids aaannd I punched one of them in the face, cuz he was about to beat her up." I said and shrugged.

She looked at me wide eyed and said "hablas enserio, some guy of the popular kids was going to beat a girl up!! Did she do anything to them or something for them to do that?!!" She asked furious. I shook my head and told her "no she didn't do anything to them, but the girl, who is the dudes 'girlfriend' said that the one they were going to beat up said in the cafeteria, that she tried to sleep with her novio and went to her and poured a drink over that poor girl and she left crying." I said still pissed off at that.

"Ugh, tipical of the popular kids, always to find those who they think is less then them." Bryss said a bit pissed herself "yeah, but get this." I said and caught her attention "she's an alphas daughter, but they treat her like that, cuz she's a runt." I said then add "also, she is the one I'm supposed to protect." She covered her mouth in surprise and asked, some questions "really!! Does she have those baby pink eyes? Is she a bit like them? How are you going to protect her if you have other things to do?" "Calm down, yes she has baby pink eyes and no, she isn't like those  jerks, she's so innocent and pure, and just being a bit close to her makes you feel relaxed, like she has this calming aura coming from her." I said calmly.

"And don't worry about how I'm going to protect her I sent one of my butterflies to watch over her aand..." I paused for a sec to see were they are and found them in a restaurant "it looks like she went to a restaurant, with other two people" I said, but then I felt something off. I made my butterfly face the woods and saw some rouges closing in. "s**t" I muttered and ran to my new room and got my mask "what happened?" Bryss asked concerned "I got to go, Sophi's in danger." I said and headed to the woods and shifted into my wolf parasite form, to get there faster.

I was almost there when I  heard a scream in the distence. I checked through my butterfly and saw that was being taken by a vampire, once I got to the place where I saw that they were going, I climed up a tree, so form  they won't see me. The vampire stopped and looked back, probable making sure he wasn't followed, and through Sophia, who was crying a lot, from his shoulder and went to a near by tree and took some rope and a cloth from it.

"Now be a good little runt and stay still. This will be over soon." He said and walked slowly to Sophia, who was backing up. I decided that it would be a perfect time to turn into my ultimate form. This is also a reason why the wolf parasite species is concedered a dangerous  one, cuz of how our wolf parasites and our human form combine to make a monstrous cannibal parasite. I like to call this form 'Nightmare', cuz of how they look.

Its like a weird, cacoon like, monster. It's a midnight blue, with point ears, and a devilish like face, sharp claws and, what I think is a weird fin on its back and something that can haunt someones nightmares for eternity. Once in my Nightmare Parasite, I came down from where I was and gave a loud shriek, but not to loud as not to draw attention. The vampire looked in my direction and his calculated face turned into horror at the sight of me. I looked at Sophia, who surprisingly wasn't afraid of me, she looked relieved that I was there. I looked back at the vampire and started to stalk him, first on all fours and then on my hind legs to circle him.

My nightmare was hungry for meat, it wanted to rip this leech apart and feast on his remains, but I was still in control, so is not to hurt Sophi. I was in front of the vampire on all fours again, with my back to Sophia in a protective stance. The vampire recovered from his state of fear and took a defensive stance. I charged at him and tried to claw at him, but he dodged it and punched me in the face. I stumbled a bit, but recovered quickly. My nightmares skin is like a hard shell that is difficult to brake, so I can take hits without a scratch.

He tried to punch me again, but I dodged it and scratched him multiple times with my claws until he backed off with so many scars on his body, he could barley stand.

I took the opportunity to finish him off. I knelt down and pounced at him, going for the neck. He tried to push me off, but I gripped him harder until he finally stopped moving. I let go of his limped body and turned to look at Sophi, who was still frightened for what happened. I went to her slowly, so I won't scare her, but... she seems to trust me. Suddenly we heared howling in the distance, so I went in a protective stance in front of her, ready to strike at what might come.

A few minutes later a midnight blue wolf with small white spots like stars, along with a brown wolf came from the trees. The midnight blue wolf growled at me but soon stopped when it saw Sophi, who was running to her, crying. I was already in my human form, with my mask and hoodie on. The brown wolf look at me then looked back at the other wolf, that was my chance to leave.

I got in to my house and saw that my sister was in the living room sitting on the couch, reading. She looked up and saw me at the door. She came running to me and said "hermano estas bien?! What happened?!" She asked worried and looking at me, to see if I had a bruise or something. "I'm fine Bryss, don't worry about it." I said to her.

"If you say so. So what happened out there?" She asked worried again "there was a rogue attack at a restaurant and a vampire was kidnapping Sophia, the girl I was asiende to protect." I said to her. She was shocked about what I said "what did the rogues want with her?" She asked "I honestly don't know but I'll have to keep a close eye on her, and by that I'll send one of my butterflies" and with that being said, I congred one up and it started to fly to the Moon Shine pack.

Ambers POV

Once we got inside my dads office we sat down in the chairs soon after me and Drake came back with Sophi out cold. Beta Anderson was there and I really wish he wasn't, cuz god knows what this man will say to make Sophi look bad.

Drake came in a few minutes later looking at everyone, then at me, it looked like he was having a conversation with his wolf. Once out of his little session, he came and sat next to me. "All right, now that everyone is here, Amber, Drake how about you two tell us what happened at the restaurant" my dad said. I was still a bit scared about Sophi, but Drake gave me a reassuring look and began to speak "me,Amber and Sophia went to Stephanos restaurant to get a quick bit to eat. Once there Stephano asked Sophi if she could help him with some work, so me and Amber went to our table and started to order our food" he paused and looked at me for me to continue.

"Once we were done eating me and Drake were going to get Sophi so we could leave, until we heard screaming nearby and saw that the restaurant was being attacked by rogues. Stephano was came and started to fight them of and we went to make sure Sophia was ok, but half way to Stephanos office there were some rogue wolves that were fighting with some of his security." I paused to try amd calm down the shaking that started "we joined the fight to, but..." I was having trouble finishing cuz of what happened earlier.

I almost lost my little sister in a rogue attack. Luna queen Rebecca saw my distress and said calmly "what happened?" I sighed and wiped the tear that came out and said "the rogues, we were fighting, distracted us" they looked at us shocked and a bit confused. "We saw that a rogue vampire broke into Stephanos office and dragged Sophi out will other two wolves were blocking our way." I said finally and put my head in my hands to calm myself.

Drake rubbed my back to sooth me and said "luckily they didn't get the chance to take her thankful." "Those rogues would have done this pack a favor by taking that runt." Beta Anderson said. My blood started to boil 'is this guy serious right now' "and why is that beta Anderson" alpha king Xavier said with his alpha voice, I guess he was also a bit mad at what that i***t said "with all do respect your highness, but that runt is useless to this pack. She doesn't belong here." He said with a smirk and with that I yelled "Are you joking me?!!!! Sophi has done almost everything in this pack because you pathetic excuse of wolves are to much of assholes to do them yourselves!!!" "Amber!!" My dad was going to say something else but I said "And you dad!! Don't you even dare defend this ungrateful beta if anyone in this pack is useless it's him!!" I said and stormed out of my dads office with Drake behind me.

'Who does this i***t think he is to say that about little sis like that?!' Aurora said furious 'the wolf's right! That stupid beta isn't any better then the rest of the pack!' Midnight said. 'My only concern is that dad was going to defend him, and in front of the the Alpha King and Luna Queen themselves.' And I'm starting to get the idea that he never cared for Sophi at all.
