Chapter 6

Drakes POV

We were going back to the packhouse to get started on the project for school, we decided that Sophia would do the models for us, cuz we honestly didn’t know how to and were probably going to make a mess. Once there, we saw two people outside asking for someone. We got out of the car to see who they were until Janet said “Mom, dad? What are you guys doing here.” “Jane thank goodness you’re here, we came to tell you that your father and I have to leave for some urgent matters that has happened in london at your aunts coven and she needs us to help.” Janes mother said with an apologetic look in her face. “really ok. Wait but how long will you guys be gone? Am I supposed to stay at home by myself?” Jane asked distressed “probably two or three months give or take. We're really sorry for this Jane, but we wouldn’t be going if it wasn’t an emergency.” Her dad said.

It looked like she wasn’t surprised by it, but she still looked sad. “Um excuse me Mr and Mrs Sphinx, um w-would it be al-alright if Jane could stay with us, so um she

wouldn’t be alone in her house and w-when your done in London you could come get her.” Sophia said shyly. “That would be wonderful, what do you think Jany?” her mom asked “yeah that would be really great, that would be better than staying home alone.” She said smiling thankful at Sophia for the suggestion. “Yes! Jane's staying over, which means, sleep over for a while two or three months.” Amber said happily and they squealed in excitement, which made me and Sophi look at them and giggle at how they’re acting like little 5 year olds.

When Jane’s parents left we went inside so that Amber could tell her dad that Jane was staying for the time being. Once inside I saw that two twin girls, probably 16 or 17 years old, coming down the stairs “Hey Brittney and Daphne come over here, I want to introduce you to some people.” Amber said to them, does she know them? They looked at her and then to me and Jane with confused experiences on there faces, but when they looked at Sophia and gave her a soft smile before coming to us, ‘they seem to care about her like Amber does.’ Brock said.

Once they came to us the one with green eyes ruffled Sophias hair a bit and the one with dark brown eyes gave her a small hug “Daphne, Brittney.” They looked at her, while green eyes had her arm rapped around Sophia’s shoulder “This is my friend Jane who will be staying with us for two or three months.” She gestured to Jane “And this is Drake, which he's the Alpha king and queen son, you know the ones who are going to help plan your birthday party.” She said. They both smiled "Nice to meet you Jane and Drake.” They said in unison which made Sophia giggle and the both smiled at her. “Jane, Drake, this are my other two sisters, the twins Daphne and Brittney.” Amber said. I was in shock, ‘so these are her other two sisters who are twins.’ Man I'm so confused right know.

“Wait, which one is Brittney and which one is Daphne?” Jane asked, that is what I was thinking. Amber was going to say which is which until Sophia beat her to it “the one on my left with green eyes is Brittney and the one on my right with dark brown eyes is Daphne.” She said. “wait, why is the witch staying with us?” The one with green eyes, Brittney, asked looking at Jane “ because her parents had to go to London for an emergency, so she'll be staying with us for two or three months, give or take.” Amber said shrugging.

“any way, were are you two going?” she asked them “we’re going to the kitchen to try and drown our anger.” Daphne, I prosume, said a bit pissed. Amber sighed and asked “what happened now?” “dad, that's what happened, we heard him and Drakes parents discuss who was going to be invited to our party, besides the pack members, which we don’t want to be at the party for the way they treat little Sophi here, but guess who else he decided should come to?” Brittney said “who?” I asked a bit curious. They looked at each other and Daphne said “The alpha and luna of the Golden Flower pack.” That wasn’t bad, until they said “with there s**t daughter Stacey Walker” and that made Sophia stiffen which they noticed. “What?! And you two didn’t say anything.” Amber said furious to know that Stacey was coming here under her dads permission “of course we tried we stormed in on them and told dad that we didn’t want that b**h at the party, not anywhere near us, but he said ‘you two shouldn’t talk about the alpha and Luna’s daughter like that.’ And ‘she’s a good girl who never hurted anyone and treats Sophia like her own sister' crap.” Daphne said.

Seriously! Does this man even have a brain or something, cuz it's clear that he never sees how Stacey really treats Sophia, after what we saw in the mall earlier and I'm still pissed at her for what she did to her and from the looks on Amber and Jane, so were they. “I can’t believe him, has he not seen the marks, that w**e leaves on Sophi when he's there with them! She asked furious. The air around us was getting tense until we heard Sophia say “Guys, can w-we just forget about her for today and even if she does come to the party a-nd trys to do something to me you guys will be there to protect me, besides its not your b-birthday yet so you two don’t have to worry about her now. So let us just enjoy these three days we have until that day comes, right?” she said calmly, with that glow in her eyes.

‘Am I the only one who saw that?’ I wondered to myself and looked at Jane who had a shock experience on her face, looks like she saw it to. But what she said was right we still had three days until Stacey comes and even if she did try to do something to Sophia at the party we'll be right next to her to see that Stacey doesn’t hurt her.

Ambers POV

Sophi made us calm down with what she said, cuz she always made sure that we stay calm for her sake. “OK Sophi and your right we still have three days until Daphne and Brittneys birthday party, so that means we have time to plan out what we should do once she gets here.” I said with confidents, looking at her “sure we can do that, but can we do that tomorrow, we want to go eat something, before we do something we might regret later.” Brittney said and she, along with Daphne left to go to the kitchen, while me, Drake, Jane and Sophia went up stairs to get started. Once up stairs we ran into our dad that was going down stairs. “Hey dad, I was just about to go see you. I wanted to ask you something.” I said to him “could you ask quickly Amber, I need to go see the patrols at the border. It appears that one of the warriors was abushed by rouges.” He said a bit frustrated.

“Really, which rouges, there are some of different species.” I said to him. There are rouges of all the supernatural beings from werewolves to even mermaids. “Three vampires and two werewolves. They attacked him when he wasn’t paying much attention to his surroundings.” “Hmm, anyway I just wanted to ask you if Jane can stay at the pack house for a couple of months until her parents come back.” I said to him “where did her parents go to?” He asked confused. “They had to go to London for an emergency and who knows when they’ll be back. Sooo, is it ok if Jane stayed here for the time being, just so she doesn’t stay home by herself while it’s dangerous to stay alone.” I said to him. What I said about it being dangerous to be out alone, was because of the strange increase of rouge attacks for the past few months.

“Alright, but because it is dangerous to be alone during these attacks. Now if you…four excuse me I need to check on the injured wolf.” My dad said and he dicendid the stairs, I asked “dad which warrior got injured?” I asked out of curiosity with Drake, Jane and Sophia looking at him with the same question on their mind “it was Jammy Rigens.” He said and left. I was shocked to hear that name, I sensed that Sophia stiffen by the news. “Wait, who’s Jammy Rigens.” Jane asked. I hugged Sophia close to me, cuz she looked like she was going to break down. “Jammy is on of our best warriors and…” I paused for a minute, taking a deep breath and said “he was also a pack member who almost r***d Sophia to.” I said closing my eyes and held Sophia, who started to cry in my chest, a little tighter.

“It’s ok Sophi.” I cooed to her, while stroking her back. She started to calm down and her crying came out as small hiccups. “Come on let’s get started on the project.” I said to Drake and Jane, but mostly to Sophia, she needs the distraction from the news. “Yeah, come on let’s get started in Sophia’s room, cuz I want to see Drakes face once he sees her room.” Jane said with excitement, while Drake was looking at her confused, ‘man he looked so cute like that.’ Aurora said and mentally rolled my eyes at her even though she was right. I heard Sophia giggle softly at what Jane said and she nodded, while whipping her tears. We started walking the hallway until we reached Sophis room. She twisted the doorknob and opened the door and I turned to see Drakes eyes widen in shock to what he was looking at in the room.

I bit my lips to contain my laugh that was threatening to come out by the look on his face, once he saw the inside of Sophis room. Her room was filled with amazing diaromas of different things to little see through ponds to a mini forest next to a field with a deer out in the open and a wolf stalking it from the trees. “Your little sister made all these diaromas herself?” he asked amazed at all of Sophia’s work “Yep! My little sis has a nack for this.” I said proudly. He was in awe with the stuff in her room, until Jane cleared her throat, bringing him out of his trans “ok” I said chuckling at his cute little blush he had on his face “shall we go in.”

Once inside, I closed the door and Jane asked “So, how are we going to make the ruins, the guardian and the forest.” We looked at each other and then looked at Sophi, who blushed, looking down. “W-w-well I could start the drawing of how it will look like and then I’ll show you guys how it came out. If you want to change or add something to it then I’ll make sure to put it on the model.” She said, a little nerves. “that’s a good idea Sophi, how about you guys stay here and keep her company, while I’ll go down stairs to get us snacks.” I said more like a request. They nodded in understanding and went to go see the rest of Sophias dioramas that are in the room.

I went out the door to go to the stairs, once there I ran into the one person I despised the most in this whole god damn house, which is none other than my fathers beta, Henry Anderson. “Oh hello there Amber. I was just going to see how your sister Sophia is doing, after what happened with my son Andrew the other day.” He said with fake concern in his voice, it was obvious what he was actually going to do to her. I guess he still thinks, since I’m going to be future alpha of this pack, that I'll choose Nathan as my future beta or worse. He probably thinks that I'll choose Nathan to be future alpha and me to be his luna, just the thought of it makes me want to throw up.

I tried calming both my Fae and my wolf, so they won’t rip him to shreds. As much as I want to, I can't, cuz he is the only one who helps with some of the pack business when my dad can’t handle it by himself and as much as I want to help him, I just can’t give up on my studys. Once calmed I gave him my best smile and said to him “Thank you for your concern beta Henry, but that won’t be necessary because I have two of my friends, who also care for her like Michael and Ema, in her room to make sure no one even thinks to come near Sophia and it turns out that one of my friends is Drake King you know him right.” I said to him with a smirk making sure he gets the message and apparently he did.

He frowned at what I said a bit annoyed, but then he covered it up with a forced smile and said “well, I'm glad that there are people taking care of her.” And with that he left. I could still feel the anger radiating from him, because he didn’t get the chance to, what I prosume, teach my sister a lesson for being a snitch, which she isn't. Frustrated, I went to the kitchen to see the omega that also mistreats Sophi, like she was garbage, she looked pissed, ‘probably cuz she can’t make Sophi do all the cooking when there are lots of omegas here that can cook to.’ Midnight said.

The omega looked in my direction and once she saw me, her face turned in to a fake happy one “good afternoon Amber, umm, do you know where Sophia is, she promised me she'd help with getting the food ready for supper.” She said with obvious fake concern. I can tell that she’s lying about Sophia promising her to ‘help’ her with this “and why can’t you get the other omegas to help, I mean with their help you could get supper done in no time.” I said to her crossing my arms and narrowing my eyes at her. Her jaw clenched, because she knew very well, that neither me nor my sisters are going to let this pathetic excuse of an omega treat Sophi like a slave “but she promised that she'd help me” she said as if I offended her with that “sorry to break it to you ‘omega'.” I said eyeing her up and down with disgust “but she never onced said that she was going to ‘help’ you with anything, last time I checked she wasn’t your f**king slave.” I spat at her and she flinched.

Once she was going to leave, probably to find her, I added “and don’t even think of looking and dragging her down her b**h she’s occupied helping me and my friends with a project for school. So why don’t you look for the other omegas to help with cooking and leave Sophia the f**k alone!” she whimpered and bowed her head in submission and went running to look for the other omegas. ‘she better stay away from Sophi, if she wants to keep her head.’ Aurora said, huffing in satisfaction.

Drakes POV

I was still looking at all the dioramas in Ambers little sisters room, there just so amazing I still can’t believe she made all this by herself. It must take a lot of time and patience for her to make them. The one that I liked more was one of a small island with three palm trees, a tree house, a tiny person and in the water there’s a sea monsters head sticking out with a fish in its mouth giving it to the person. Man I wish I had it, its adorable. Suddenly some one cleared their throat, making me jump back to reality, I turned to see Sophia staring at me with a small smile. “do you like it?” she asked pointing to the mini island. I looked over her shoulder to see where Jane was and she was looking at what looks like an unfinished diorama of a castle ruin.

I looked back at Sophia, who was waiting for my answer, I gave her a gentle smile and nodded, looking back at the island “it’s the first one that I made.” She said proud of herself. I widened my eyes and looked at her surprised, ‘this was the first diorama she made? Man she must be really talented if her first little work of art came out this amazing.’ I thought. “really?” I asked still amazed. She nodded and said “I made this from when people from the pack started treating me bad, I was only 5 when they beated me and my sisters weren’t around to protect me. There was this one time when a pack member told my dad that I was violent, cuz I scratched them. It wasn’t true of me being violent, I was just defending myself, but I guess dad believed them more then me, because he locked me in my room with out food.” A tear ran down her check, but she whipped it and continued “I was locked in here all day and was getting hungry, until someone unlocked the door and I saw Mrs Anderson coming in with a tray of food, she was the only one besides my sisters in this pack to treat me with kindness and she didn’t like what the other pack members were doing to me including Mr. Anderson and she brought me the things I needed to make a diorama, cuz I wanted to make one, but in secret and I made this.” She said looking at the island and said “I made it to say no matter how things are or how alone you are there will always be someone to help you when needed.” Smiling sadly. She must have had it ruff for her through the years with so much abuse, but at least she has her sisters here to protect her.

The door opened and I was hit with my mates scent. She came in with a tray of sandwiches and refreshments and looking at us with a gorgeous smile on her face. I felt like melting under that smile. She placed the tray on the bedside table and asked Sophia if the drawing was done. "Yeah actually I just finished it a while ago." She said walking to the desk and grabbing a piece of paper.

I gotta say that it was an amazing drawing. There was a Chinese temple in ruins in the middle of a forest with trees big and small, a tiny warrior close to it, with a giant bird like creature in front of himher, it looked amazing.

"Wow, Sophi it looks fantastic, but how are we going to know what the back part of the temple looks like?" Jane asked, "don't worry just leave it to me, I'll tell you guys what I need for it." Sophia said calmly and with that being said we got to work.

Sophia started telling us what we were going to do. She started to make the pieces of the temple with the foume cored boards we got and started gluing some of them together. Once she was done, she told us to paint them and she started to make the 'guardian' of the temple, by using some wires and tine foil for the base and then she started using the clay to form it.

About half an hour later we were making the trees to put on the diorama, when we heard a knock on the door. It opened to reveal a girl with short light brown hair and ocean blue eyes "hey, dad said to come down for supper." She said. "Ok Willow we'll be down in a sec." Amber said and the girl left "who was she?" I asked a bit curious and it looked like Jane had the same curious expression on her face "that my friends is my other lovely sister, Willow" she said with a smile.

She started laughing at us, cuz of our shocked expressions and Sophia giggled for the same reason. 'Man! The others weren't kidding, when they said she had four sisters.' Brock said 'I honestly thought they were bluffing, but since we got the pleasure to meet the twins, Daphne and Brittney, and the one that came in, Willow. I guess I believe them now.' I said to him.

Once they were done laughing at us, the four of us got up and washed our hands and face in Sophias bathroom and went out the door to go down stairs. Once in the dinning room, Amber and Sophia went to go sit with their sisters on either side of their dad, but Sophia sat a little closer to, I think, Brittney. Then I looked at some of the other pack members staring at her in disbelief, hate and disgust. 'Looks like they really don't like to see her, a runt, sitting at 'their' table.' I said to Brock 'their all a bunch of assholes.' He said.

Jane went to sit with a guy who was next to Amber, which I couldn't help but feel possessive and angry and Brock wanted to come out and get him away from our mate, until Sophi looked at me with an understanding and calm smile, telling me that its ok. That made him calm down, she really is special.

I went to sit with my parents, who were opposite of alpha Aaron and Daphne. Once the food came we started to eat, until my mom said "Sophia, was it, why aren't you eating." I looked at Sophia and saw that she wasn't eating the food the omegas brought. "The runt doesn't eat until we're done eating, your Majesties." The beta, I prosume, said and everyone else nodded in agreement. Until the four sisters growled loudly to make everyone flinch and bow their heads in submission.

"Sophia, you can eat a little bit if you want to." Willow said. Sophia's eyes clouded up along with her sisters, until I heard 'I'm scared that they put something in my food.' It was Sophias voice, 'but how is she able to mind link us?' Brock said shocked and by the looks on her sisters and Janes face they were thinking the same thing. 'It wouldn't be a surprise if Emily put something in her food.' Daphne said and they looked at an omega, who was looking at Sophia with an evil smirk.

It looked like she was in her late thirtys. She had long black hair, that was tied into a bun, pale skin and brown eyes. She was wearing a white buttoned up blouse, a short black skirt, white leggings, black lofers and a pink, with purple, aprean. Brittney gave her an angry glare and said to everyone "maybe we should go out to eat instead. What do you think girls." They nodded their head and stood up, until their dad said "girls! don't be rude we have guest here and it would be a shame to leave during supper time."

"Sorry dad, but it would be best if me, Willow, Daphne, Brittney and Sophia eat somewhere else instead of eating here surrounded by an..." Amber paused and eyed the omega, who's smirk was replaced with an irritated frown, up and down with disgust "ungrateful omega" she said and was leaving with her sisters behind her, when the guy that was sitting next to her stood with Jane and said "we'll come to" and went next to her. I stood to and said "I'm coming as well" and walked next to MY mate. I looked over my shoulder to see Nathan and Zack looking at me in disbelief, seeing me go with them and the 'runt'. 'They probably thought that you were going to stay here and make fun of our mate and and the others.' Brock said. I smirked internally and started walking out the pack house with the others.
