It has been over an hour that Lilith excused herself to her room; it is unlike her to even step away from a party. I guess she is still shaken from the incident with the boy, which is entirely understandable; she grew very close to him in only but a few days. I could see the pain that was hiding behind those deep blue eyes. She always wanted to be a mother; in fact, she would have been if it was not for that wolf that attacked her and took the life of her baby. I am yet to forgive myself for not being able to save him, which I can safely say will not happen. As a Vampire, we should not feel remorse, especially for lives that are being taken, and neither shall we take the life of a child.
