“How did you get that book?” Lear asks in awe and he keeps looking at the elven book of magic and it’s subtle blue glow. “It was always here.” Cellan answers with a shrug. “But this is the reason why Katherine needs to learn runes.” “Yes. I agree.” Lear glances over to Katherine and she winks at him. She even smiles and thinks that life would be so much easier if those two can get along without fighting. “How do we even start this?” Katherine asks, because she thinks the runes are pretty but make no sense at all to her. “With the basics.” Lear tells her. “As alluring as the book is, you need to learn to read the runes first. The runes are combinations of sounds, letters if you want to imagine it that way. Each rune can be roughly translated into a combination of two to three letters.”
