Chapter 1: Awakening

A tall, sultry Lamia stood proudly on a glittering stage, the auditorium lights casting gleaming reflections on her shimmering blue scales. Her tight white tee-shirt clung to her voluptuous figure, doing nothing to hide her ample breasts and wide, motherly hips. She was the epitome of a perfect MILF, oozing dominance and charm with every movement. Her tail curled elegantly behind her as she addressed the audience. “Hello, everyone,” she said, her voice seductive and confident. “Today, we are going to witness one of the most important moments in your lives—the awakening of your Coin System.” The Lamia slithered to the side of the stage, her movement mesmerizing, and stopped beside a towering, glowing crystal. “Look closely… this is the Awakening Crystal. When you touch it and say ‘System,’ your personal panel will appear—and we’ll see just how many coins you’re destined to earn.” Her smile widened, maternal and teasing at the same time. She picked up a paper filled with names and numbers. “Let’s begin. I’ll call out the names, and one by one, you’ll come forward and awaken your system.” Her eyes scanned the sheet, and then her voice rang out, “Let’s call… Giini first.” A tall girl in a white uniform with two tight ponytails stepped forward. Her muscular frame stood in contrast to her soft expression. She looked up at the ceiling, whispered a prayer, and slowly placed her hands on the crystal. “System,” she said. Blue light sparkled as a transparent panel materialized before her, each pixel forming slowly. [Congratulations!] [You have awakened your Coin System] [Coin Rate: 32C/Day] Giini’s face fell as she saw the result. Her eyes dimmed with despair. “It’s over… I’ll never live a better life with just this,” she muttered, stepping away. The Lamia tilted her head, offering a soft, knowing smile. “Don’t be discouraged, dear. You still have your family business. You’ll live well with that. There’s more than one path to a good life.” But Giini, eyes lowered, returned to the line without a word. “Alright, next…” Names continued to be called. One after another, students came forward to awaken their systems. 56. 57. 58. 39… Murmurs echoed in the room as a girl hit a shocking 92 coins per day. “She can build her own barrier and live a life of luxury,” someone whispered. “But she’s a noble. She doesn’t care about living outside. They already have their own barrier… a huge garden full of fruits and vegetables.” “They don’t buy from stores—they sell to the stores and to the barriers.” As the crowd murmured, the Lamia placed her hands beneath her bust, pressing them together with exaggerated confidence. “Listen well…” she smirked, voice purring, “A woman needs a lot of things to live… but a man? He only needs one.” The girls laughed and whispered until the Lamia’s voice shifted into something deeper, more personal. “Ron.” A hush fell. A small boy with soft pink hair and bright blue eyes stood up. His delicate, androgynous features drew attention instantly. Just five feet tall, Ron looked more like a doll than a real person. Eyes full of wonder and nerves, he walked up to the crystal and pressed his hands against its cold surface. “System.” A flash of blue, and the screen formed. [Congratulations!] [You have awakened your Coin System] [Coin Rate: 0.1 Coin/Day] (Level Up) A stunned silence filled the auditorium. “Did he just…?” “That’s the lowest in history.” “Not just low. It’s hundreds of times lower than the previous lowest.” “He’s already an orphan. Now he’ll have to depend on a woman.” But even amidst the snide remarks, some eyes gleamed with twisted interest. “I’ll auction 5000 Coins for that figure,” one woman whispered, licking her lips. “His genes are perfect. Just imagine the children…” “If he agrees, I’d write my whole estate in his name.” Laughter followed. “He’s worth more than your mansion!” Ron didn’t flinch. He kept staring at the panel, then at the crystal. He clenched his fists. “I will make my dreams come true with this.” The Lamia slithered forward, her gaze more serious now. “Ron… don’t worry. I’ll introduce you to a rich woman. With your genetics, your features—you could fit into royalty.” But he didn’t respond. His eyes remained fixed on the panel. The Lamia chuckled softly, “Ah… seems someone’s already engaged to you. Well then, Ron… if you don’t mind, send me your wife’s location. I’ll make sure to check in on you daily.” Ron raised his head and nodded. “I’ll definitely send the location.” Excitement rippled through the room. Girls flocked toward him. “Where is she?” “Tell us!” But the Lamia raised her tail and slapped it against the ground, the booming noise making everyone freeze. “Back to your seats!” she snapped. The girls scattered like children, giggling and sighing with longing. “Don’t worry, I’ll send you all the location once I receive the link,” the Lamia added, satisfied. (In this world, men are rare and treated as treasures. Nobles often gift them to one another. Married women sometimes lend out their husbands for Coins—but the risk of kidnapping or assault by rogue desert tribes is always present.) But Ron wasn’t like other boys. After seeing his panel, he knew he couldn’t stay in the dormitory—even if it was luxurious and offered free lodging. (Schools invest heavily to enroll boys. They are the biggest attraction for female students and are offered scholarships and privileges.) Ron was now a graduate. His path? Get married into a noble family and become a breeder… or work at a barrier, risking everything as a man. But Ron had another plan. He would build his own life—his own palace. He returned to his dorm and packed his few belongings. Only school-issued uniforms, nothing else. But he was no longer just a boy. He had the System now. He was independent. While packing, he found old documents from his deceased parents. Foreign writing. A bank bond… but unreadable. He had always ignored it. But now? He smirked. “This might be something important.” “Detect.” Ding! [The bond has 100,000 Coins on it] [Do you want to transfer it to your system? Yes / No] Ron’s eyes widened. All this time… he had been rich. And he didn’t even know it. His heart pounded with hope, with excitement, with newfound purpose. “I can live a better life now.”
