I woke up when I felt a heavy thing on my waist. The room was dark, and I can’t bring myself to move. I started to panic when I heard someone groan.
“Hey, what’s wrong? Did you have any nightmare again?” he said that in a very deep tone voice.
I looked up at the owner of the voice and I met his eyes looking at mine. He looked at me with emotion that I haven’t seen yet.
I felt a hand lightly squeeze my shoulders, and the heavy thing on my waist was lifted. He gently caresses my face before he smiled at me.
“You’ll be fine now. No one’s going to hurt you anymore.” He tenderly said.
That’s when I realize what position we are in.
The CEO was hugging me, and I am using his arm as my pillow. I immediately got up, but the CEO grabbed me back and pulled me inside his arms.
