I froze in place as our eyes locked before he looked away from me. Why would the right hand of the man I hate more than anyone be doing on the human grounds, where I work, and most importantly requesting to be served by me only?
No way! I was not going to let him! I knew exactly what he was doing here and I there was no way I was going to allow him to take my freedom and happiness away after it took me so long to build my life here.
I mean, it was not easy to get into college here having graduated from my pack's high school. A lot of strings had to be pulled and a lot of sacrifices made. Bale knew nothing about that and he would give absolutely zero shits if he found out anyway!
