Lucas's Point of View I found it very difficult to sleep that night. Even with my Luna wrapped around me like ivy, the most I managed was a ten minute doze here and there. I really hoped that I was wrong, and as the sun started to rise in the sky and with every minute that ticked by, I started to feel a tiny spark of hope that maybe I was. Until I heard a scream outside in the hall. I was still fully dressed from the night before, so I launched myself out of bed faster than a bullet from a gun. I paused for just a second before opening the door. I had to keep my thoughts clear. Jacob was in a heap on the floor screaming. There appeared to be blood gushing from his nose and trickling from his ears. But there was no metallic smell that would usually accompany it. This was fake.
