"What the f**k just happened, Jacob?" I asked him in a tight voice, ignoring his question. "Alpha Lucas is on his way to being the king of the werewolves and Atara nearly killed him."
"I'm feeling much better Rose, thank you for asking." Jacob dead panned.
I huffed. I guess I should have asked him how he was first, but my wolf had such a strong reaction to this man that I doubt he needed any sympathy from me.
