MY INFINITY

Episode 2

After reaching my home the orphanage I said to my self "home sweet home", then I walked in and then as usual the other kids in the orphanage are always annoying ? except that one kid named Arcade,, he was the most quite kid in the whole orphanage, everyone runs away from him except me,, I'm his only friend. I walked towards him and said " Hi arcade, my friend", he answered "Mirion what's up" in a scary voice, I was traumatized as usual. we later climbed on top of our secret hideout (tree house).

There we sat down and started talking about our experience in the day. He started by saying the same story as he always does. it's about a guy who's father killed the mother and throw his son to the streets. I have heard that for like a million times ?. but listening to him makes me feel something I don't understand,,, after he was done with the story, I started saying my experience for the day " I met a girl who save me from bullies in school today,, so I later followed her to her house after school, she entered a forest where I entered too and all of a sudden I lost track of her, I was in a illusion where a lake can be seen close but you will never reach it." after hearing that Arcade was behaving abnormally,, be was behaving as if he knows what I was talking about. I asked him wether he knows something but he didn't reply me ?. it was at that time I began to suspect something fishy ?.

Finally it was time for bed,, and Arcade was still behaving differently from his old self. The most annoying part is that he remained like that the whole night.

"Damn!! it was the worst night ever" . I said to Arcade.

Finally it was time for school, I prepared and was ready to take on the journey to school. On my way going Arcade started following me. " what is the matter Arcade", I asked and he responded" I want to see that girl and that lake". It was then my suspicion was even greater than anytime else.

After school I went to Xene along with Arcade,, when they saw each other they were both shocked and surprised ?,, I was watching the both of them closely and observed that from their reactions after seeing each other proves that they knew each other. " Do you guys know each other" I asked, "No" said Arcade, while Xene remained quiet ? the whole time. In no time Arcade pulled by shirt ? saying "let's go home". Xene still remained quiet and still. It was at that moment I knew something was going on.

After reaching home, Arcade started behaving wired again, and this time was more traumatizing,, his mind was like a foreign land. I started my mission, Which is to aquire the information about the both of them ?. At first I started with Arcade,, I asked him till I became tired but he still won't tell me anything ?. Damn!!

Finally time for school,, on my way going to class I was having full hope to get information from Xene,, but unfortunately she wasn't around. Damn!! she was absent. After school I rushed to her house but there is only one thing that I don't know how to pass,, the illusion. Damn!! I said to my self.

I entered the forest and started running like a mad man, my speed was so high that I close my eyes ?. After so many minutes of running, I hit a wall,, then I opened my eyes and started shouting from the pain ??. Then I saw Xene coming out of the house ?. "but how did I reached here"? I said to my self. I was surprised because I didn't see any illusion ?. Then Xene came and asked "why are you here and how did you pass the illusion",, I responded " there was no illusion", She said that in order to pass the illusion your eyes ? are to be close. it was there I recalled that while I was running my eyes where close. After I told her about how I pass the illusion she was surprised ? but still I have to get information from her.

I asked " Are you staying here alone", she said that she was living with her father and brother but they all disappeared after the,,,,,,,, Great war.

"war", I said in a shock voice. "yes the war was the main reason why.., " she said,, but all of a sudden she cut what she wanted to say. " Tell me "' I shouted but she didn't reply me.

I then continued my mission and asked her wether she knows Arcade. she said" Yes I know,,,,him in fact he is my brother ".

" What!!? " I shouted.

" yeah and my father is dead that's why Arcade is always being quiet and scared ?,, he witness the dead of my father. " she responded. " how did your dad died" I asked sadly ?.
