Lost and Found

Finishing their breakfast, everyone assembled down for the Mehendi function. Anika was still wondering about those words Shivaay uttered earlier that morning,"If something happens to you what will I do?"

Her Mind voice,

"What happened to him? Why did he tell that!"

She was still in her thoughts when she was brought back to the real world by Rudra,"Anika Didi, will you not put mehendi on your hands?"

"I will Rudra. Did the function start?" she asked to which he nodded in positive.

"Okay then!" she said smiling at him.

While Shivaay here was not able to understand what was happening to him. He was completely upset with his own behaviour earlier that morning. He was loud enough when he was scolding himself,

"Why the hell did I tell like that to her? Is she affecting you shivaay?! That's not possible. But why did I react that badly when I didn't find her!"

Om just then enters the room,

"Shivaay! Are you fine? Why are scolding yourself and about whom are you talking?" Om asked him but Shivaay remained silent.

"Tell me one thing Shivaay, do you like Anika? I mean to say, even I heard what you said a while back"

"No Om nothing of that sort. You are just overthinking. She was just our responsibility, that's all!" Shivaay answered his brother this time, continuing further,

"And by the way, Shivaay Singh Oberoi doesn't believe in the concept of love!"

"But Shivaay I didn't even talk about love here! Then why are you bringing in that topic?" asked Om smirking now.

"Om! You just started behaving like Rudra!" Shivaay groaned.

"Mark my words Shivaay! One day you will come running to me and say that you are madly in love with someone. She will cry but tears will fall from your eyes, She will get hurt but you will feel the pain. That day you will get to know someone affects you so much. That day no power, no money, no name will stop you from loving her!" Om said to which Shivaay responds,

"okay okay Om we will see that one fine day! Now where is Rudra?" asked Shivaay worried about his younger brother.

"he has already gone to attend the function with Ranveer" said Om and soon they left for the function.

They reached the hall where all the women were busy putting mehendi on their hands, and Shivaay noticed Anika as well among them. Soon her hair strands disturbed her and she tried her level best to tuck it behind her ears but her attempts failed miserably. Shivaay who was observing all this just went to her and tucked her hair strands without thinking anything else.

To Anika's surprise Shivaay was just smiling. And she smiled back not knowing how to react to his action. "Thanks" was the only word heard from her.

Anika then said to the mehendi designer, "please write the letter 'S' at the edge of my little finger"

Shivaay was started thinking who was 'S'

"Is that me? she just told right in front of me or is she having someone else in her life?"

Thinking, Shivaay became a bit tensed unknowingly. Meanwhile the rest were also admiring at their girls.

Gauri came towards Om and asked him showing her hands filled with mehendi,"how is it om?"

"beautiful! Just like you" said Om lost into her eyes but then realized what he said. Gauri just smiled back at him saying "thanks" and left from there.

Om's mind voice,

"What did I just tell her! I just acted like a duffer! But she smiled back at me. Does this mean she has feelings for me!?"

Rudra was sitting next to Saumya when she told her mehendi designer, "please write the letter 'R' in the middle of my palm!"

Rudra as soon as he heard the letter 'R' wondered if it was him but just then Ranveer came.

"Bhaiyya how is my mehendi? see your first letter on my palm" said Saumya squealing in happiness.

"Awesome! Just like my sister" said Ranveer side hugging her.
