Amyla's eyes flutter open, her head throbbing painfully as she tried to sit and look around.
"It took you longer than expected to wake up, zaffiro!"
Her breathing hitched in her throat as she glanced up and met his hard gaze glaring at her and watching her every movement like a hawk.
She could practically feel his murderous rage and the more she looked into his alighted eyes, the more it became difficult for her to breathe. But then like lightning streaked against a tree, she remembered Dani and how she laid there on the ground in a pool of her blood.
"Where is Dani, you killed her?" She said but her voice came out as a whisper, tears blinding her vision.
"You are in no position to ask questions, zaffiro. You caused her to reach that position " He responded blankly, edging
