Damian’s POV:
I could feel the battle of emotions that Morgan was fighting against. She had anger, fear, pain, and frustration. And all of these emotions were keeping her from opening up to me. I was more than convinced that she was into me, for sure. I could feel it and so did Bruce. Even Kira shared her deepest secret with us. This wasn't just a physical attraction, our souls were blending into one.
I reached out to her and asked her to let me hold her. Our mate bond could help her control her anxiety before she had a nervous breakdown. But we had to have skin contact for that to happen. Alex told her to stay with me as he had something to do-- which worked perfectly to my advantage, because I needed some time with her. I needed some time 'alone' with her.
