I ran my fingers through her beautiful silky hair. Alex, Usher and Allison were quiet as they were trying to figure out what was going on with me. My heart was skipping beats, and my hands were sweating like crazy. Bruce was going haywire trying to communicate with Kira. He had sensed her. She was back.
Not being able to sense her wolf was a major defeat. It was a life and death circumstance, and Kira had been gone for almost four days, which meant that Morgan was in a critical condition.
I was breathing heavily, and I felt lightheaded from the emotions flooding my body. This had felt like an eternity that would never come to an end. She was unconscious for four f*****g long days, but it seemed like four months to all of us.
“Bruce can sense Kira,” I told them.
