Lilian’s POV It’s been four days since the gala and I’m surprised when my phone starts to vibrate across my desk at two o’clock in the afternoon. Picking it up, I almost drop it again when I see Jenna’s name on the screen. Tentatively, I press the green button and hold the phone up to my ear. ‘Hello?’ I ask nervously. ‘Hey! It’s Jenna!’ the red head replies excitedly, ‘have I called at a bad time? Shoot, it’s still work time for you isn’t it? Man! I totally spaced! It comes with being a sculptor, I work the craziest hours I kind of forget that other people work the nine to five’s. Should I call back later? Damn, did I pull you out of a meeting? My bad! God I am such an airhead! No wonder you haven’t rung me . . Oh no! Were you just being polite at the party? Have I totally misread here
