"What's wrong why is Zoey crying?" I asked walking towards Kaira who was standing by the wide open door with a crying Zoey in her arms.
"She wanted to be with you but we didn't let her come here because you know," she trailed off her eyes darting from me to Hugo while I took Zoey from her.
"oh Yeah, thanks K." I said to her wiping away Zoey's tears.
"Mommy." Zoey sobbed wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Yes baby, don't cry." I responded cooing her and wiping her tears.
"Are you going to leave me?" I was taken aback by her question.
"No baby, I would never do that okay. I love you very much." assured her kissing her forehead. She probably heard me tell Hugo that I was leaving him.
"Daddy." she said lifting up her hands towards Hugo. He came closer and took her in his arms.
