EPISODE FIVE

1202 Words
Lola is the pack’s Luna. When she’s less busy, she often spends time in the house, comes by to cook for the house and play with my six year old daughter. I didn’t have a problem with that until the rumors that she spread about her and me in a relationship got back to me and got on the wrong side of my nerves. Nate said I was overreacting by asking her to stop coming over but I think I was just building boundaries. I don’t tolerate rumors, and definitely not one that involves me or my choice of partner. The door opens and I turn around to see Jacob’s brown head poking in. “Breakfast is ready, Alpha.” “Go and eat breakfast, okay? Daddy will join you soon.” I say to Cami before giving her to Jacob. Nate pushes to his feet as soon as the door closes, moving closer and sniffing me hard, then he raises his head and smiles. “You smell like sex.” I roll my eyes. “You sly bastard. Stop letting Lola come here.” “Who’s the lucky girl?” He asks, ignoring me.” I brush past him to sit on my bed. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, Nate.” Taking a quick peek at the lines and circles my daughter drew on his face with lipstick and something else, I quickly add, “And, go wash your face, you look ridiculous.” “I can smell her on you. Tell me about her.” He probes. “There is no her.” “Tell me about him, then.” “f**k you, Nate. “I offered myself to you on a platter for three years, D. You refused every time. I don’t think I want you anymore.” Speechless, I look at my best friend of more than twenty years – my brother, at this point. A devil in a clown’s outfit. The most vicious and dark werewolf in the South. Nate is friend to all and friend to none. Good thing his smile and playful words would never alert anyone of the devil beneath. And, no I’m not going to tell him about Isabel. That would compromise her safety. I should have killed her or sent her back to her pack immediately but I had use for her. No one needs to know about her till I send her back safely to her pack. “You’re a pain in the ass.” Nate could smell anything – a lie, truth, food, s*x, a dead body that’s a thousand miles away; anything. He has the sharpest nose in the pack and, even if I poured all the oil in my garage on my body, he’d still manage to fish out some odd smell. “Spit it out now before I force it out of you.” “Some girl I found in the woods.” His eyes narrow and I quickly add, “it was consensual.” “Why were you in the woods? You said you were spending the night in the garage.” “I needed some air.” “And you found it between a little wolf’s legs, I guess.” He chuckles. “What’s she like?” “I don’t know, Nate. I found her in the middle of the woods and it was in the heat of the moment. I need to get out of this f*****g clothes and take a shower. He shrugs, dumping himself into the bed. “I’ll wait then.” “Get the f**k out of my room, Nathan,” I say, slinging a towel on my shoulder as I head to the bathroom. **** “You should show up at the bonfire tonight. There’s going to be so many wolves. Maybe she’ll be here.” Nate says over a game of cards at the dining hall. “She?” Max, my nephew siting across from Nate inquires. “Ignore him,” I say to max before turning to Nate. “Didn’t you just have a bon fire some days ago?” “That was last Saturday. I throw it every Saturday and it ends in a crazy orgy that you’re always invited to. But you wouldn’t know that when you’re either locked in your office selling cars to some humans or under that f*****g wrangler of yours.” My mind goes to the garage, to my beautiful wrangler that I’m almost done building, to Isabel. To Isabel. With the bonfire happening tonight, there will be less guards on patrol. I will have a chance to move her to my penthouse without anyone noticing. I couldn’t do that last night because of the patrol guards and the amount of wolves going about hunting. The garage is very close to the woods and no one ever goes there except me. It was the best place to hide her. The bonfire is a perfect distraction. “I’ll be in the garage. The wrangler is almost done and I can’t wait to finish it.” The image of Isabel’s naked body in my penthouse flashes through my mind. Yep, I’m definitely missing this damn bonfire. “I’ll go to the penthouse from there. I have work to do.” “You’re no fun,” Nate grumbles. ISABEL The big, bad wolf does not return until late in the afternoon after I had fallen asleep twice and almost passed from exhaustion and hunger. The oil-stained, bottle of water drank halfway and sitting calmly by the tire of the black wrangler gave me some hydration. While he was away, I found a light switch with the aid of the streaks of sunlight streaming through the cracks of the closed windows. I figured I was in the deep of the garage, a separate room with tools and car parts, some brand new and some old. There isn’t much to see; two unfinished luxury car models and the big black wrangler that can’t go unnoticed. There wasn’t much to do apart from pacing and falling asleep while waiting for my captor to return with food. He finally returns with sandwich in a paper bag and a bottle of orange juice. “I’ve been expecting you,” I say as I receive my food from him. I immediately tear into it. “Really?” “Yes,” I say with a mouthful. “What have you been up to?” He asks without paying attention to me, watching his car in admiration as he stands with his hands on his hips. I continue to munch on my sandwich, too busy to respond. I don’t have to respond. A conversation wasn’t part of the deal. Three days and I’m back to my home. Safe and sound. Three days of him; of s****l intercourse so intense I could barely stay on my feet. My mind trails back to when I was tied to the same chair I’m now sitting on, being given the craziest option of life or death, to his tongue stroking me and his c**k inside me. A soft gasp escapes my lips and when he shoots a glance towards me, I bite my lips.
