53 Abby My eyes snap open, and the smell of lavender and chamomile wafts into my nostrils. Soft, ambient music plays like a lullaby in the background, offering a brief respite from the horrific reality surrounding me. The ship's spa has been transformed into a makeshift recovery room for me, and although my body aches with pain, I'm thankful for this small sanctuary. Dimmed lights cast a warm glow on the wooden walls, and plush towels are carefully folded on shelves, their whiteness seeming so pure amid all the chaos. The calming atmosphere is almost enough to make me forget the bloodshed that stains the rest of the ship. Remember to breathe, I whisper to myself, trying to keep the panic under control.
