FORBIDDEN LOVE

CHAPTER 7

Bella was standing in the opposite direction trying to cross the road , Richmond stopped immediately he saw her and waited for her to cross, when she got to where his car was standing he decided to call her .

_RICHMOND: hey Bella

_BELLA: you? Are you monitoring me or what.

_RICHMOND: how can you say that, I was just passing when I saw you.

_BELLA: lies . oh yes i get it, you want to knock me again right?

_RICHMOND: you are crazy Bella, how can you say a thing like that?

_BELLA: You will see how far my craziness can go if you don't leave immediately.

_RICHMOND: get in the car let me drop you off

_BELLA: hahahaha, it seems as if you are deaf( walking away) 

Richmond decided to follow her, while begging her to get in the car. 

_RICHMOND: you are so heady Bella, just see the way people are looking at us.

_ BELLA:I don't care, just let me be!

_RICHMOND: I promise to let you be if you accept that I drop you off just once.

Bella decided to get in the car since he has promised not to disturb her again.

_RICHMOND: Are you so hostile to everyone or it's just me?

_BELLA:.....( Silence)

_RICHMOND: Answer me Bella , you seem to hate me so much

_BELLA: the fact that I'm inside the car does not mean you should ask me questions,just drive!

_RICHMOND: you know Bella, my mom use to say that when a woman is so hostile or mean to you for no reason , it's either she loves you or she hates you. So tell me where you belong.

_BELLA: i have nothing to tell you.

_RICHMOND: good, my mom also said when a woman says she has no answer to a question, consider the positive answer.

_BELLA: it seems as if your mother knows everything,so instead of asking me silly questions just let me be.

_RICHMOND:Then why are you angry Bella? I think you are just trying to deny the fact that you are interested in me.

_BELLA: hahahaha, you are saying rubbish.i don't know where that is coming from but you most be crazy to say such a thing.

_RICHMOND: I'm really crazy Bella, I'm crazily in love with you.

_BELLA: what did you just say?

_RICHMOND: nothing. What I see in your eyes is different from the way you behave.

_BELLA: And what do you see in my eyes since you know everything?

_RICHMOND: LOVE 

_BELLA: hahahaha

_RICHMOND: When you get tired of trying to hide your feelings let me know. I love you and I'm tired of hiding it, I've never felt like this before. Even if you continue to push me away,it won't stop me from loving you.Since the last time you said I shouldn't call you again,I have been trying so hard to forget you until I met you today. 

_BELLA: ……( lost in thought)

_RICHMOND: I don't expect you to say anything.

When they got home , Bella quickly jumped from the car and started walking away as fast  as she could,but Richmond was also faster than she thought and before she could realize he had already pulled her to himself. They stood there looking at each other directly in the eyes, their hearts were beating faster,they were both breathing heavily and it was not long before their lips met, they kissed as if they were in their own world and nothing else mattered, Bella wanted to push him away but something was stopping her.After 2minutes of continuous kissing Bella realised that she has just committed a huge mistake, without thinking further,he pushed Richmond away and Walked away.

_RICHMOND: I will make you mine Bella ( shouting) now I have my Answer,you love me and I will not let you go.

With a broad smile on his face he entered his car and drove off. Bella was lost in thought as she entered the house.Eve who was busy cooking noticed that and decided to know what happened.

_EVE: Bella what is the matter, you look disturbed, is anything the matter?

_BELLA: I'm fine Eve ( with a sad face)

_EVE: your facial expression says a different thing baby cousin, tell me what happened in school.

_BELLA: Nothing, I'm just tired.

_EVE:I won't insist, if you feel like telling me what is bothering you I will still be here to give you a listening ear.

_BELLA: ok( walking towards the bedroom)

As soon as she got inside,she burst into tears 

_BELLA: talking to herself, I can't believe I kissed him, what is happening to me?, I didn't even push him away.why did I get in his car in the first place, he said he loves me ,why do I hate him when I see him and can't stop thinking about him when he's not around. No no no I can't be in love. I can't love him,I barely know anything about him .oh God what is happening to me? I will not let him approach me henceforth.

Few minutes later Eve came in and discovered that Bella was still wearing the same clothes and her eyes were red. She sat beside her and placed her hand on her shoulder.

_EVE: Bella since you came here I've never seen you like this.tell me what is bothering you and I promise we will handle it together.

_BELLA:.......(Silence)

_EVE: Apart from being your cousin I'm also your friend Bella, talk to me and I promise to help you out .

_BELLA: he kissed me Bella

_EVE: who?

_BELLA: that looser.

_EVE: I don't get you,who is the looser ?

_BELLA: Richmond

_EVE: What! where did you see him and how come he kissed you?

Bella narrated everything that happened to her cousin and Eve was so happy even though she pretended to be sorry for Bella.

_EVE: Stop crying Bella, it's ok if you don't love him, or do you?

_BELLA: I don't know.( Crying)

_EVE: we don't decide when to love Bella, neither do we choose whom to love.its unfortunate that you met Richmond in a bad situation,but it does not stop you from loving him . maybe that was how you guys were destined to meet. You alone know how you feel. I can't choose for you ,all I can say is that you should be true to yourself and follow your heart. It will not stop you from achieving your objectives. Go and freshen up and come let's eat.

_BELLA: thank you big cousin ( giving her a hug)

The rest of the evening, Bella kept thinking about her cousin's words.she had other projects for this year and falling In love was not one of them. But as Eve said, we don't decide when to fall in love.she can't stop thinking about the kiss either.

Richmond on his own side was so excited , he was happy that he finally poured out his feelings to Bella, no matter how long it will take for him to conquer her love,he's not giving up.

IN CAMPUS

_ROSE: I've been observing you since morning and I believe there is something you are not telling me Bella, what is it?

_BELLA: nothing bestie, I'm just tired.

_ROSE: what have you been doing that makes you tired , I know you so well Bella.tell me the truth.

She had no choice than to tell her friend everything, because she kept insisting.so she narrated everything that happened yesterday including what Eve said.

_ROSE: Wow, that's huge.

_BELLA: yeah

_ROSE: when it comes to love , only the person concern can Know how they feel, Do you love him?

_BELLA: I'm confused bestie.

_ROSE: If you are confused it means something is wrong, and I think the answer is love.

_BELLA: I Can't love now Rose, I have so many things I want to achieve before thinking of that.

_ROSE: So Daniel and I don't have dreams to pursue, is that?

_BELLA: I didn't say so bestie, it's complicated.

_ROSE: Nothing is complicated Bestie, just be true to yourself.Do what will make you happy.if you love him give him a chance ,if not then let go and move on

_BELLA: How is Daniel( changing the topic

_ROSE: He's fine.he wanted me to spend the night with him and I'm still thinking.

_BELLA: I hope it's not what I'm thinking.

_ROSE: I know what you are thinking but he won't force me if I say no

_BELLA: One never knows oh, you might not be able to say no

_ROSE: from the experience of yesterday you can say so( referring to the kiss)

_BELLA: Mafff, that's not the same thing.

_ROSE: If that will console you . Besides that's Richmond.(prank)

_BELLA: where is he?( Looking left and right)

_ROSE: you see how you are, by the mentione of his name you become excited, time will tell.

_BELLA: tell what ,I don't love him.

_ROSE: OK OH I think I will accept to spend the night at Daniel's place

_BELLA: good for you hahahaha

The girls went home after finishing with lectures, as soon as Bella got home,she saw something at her door step.what might that be?
