FORBIDDEN LOVE

CHAPTER 12

When Richmond left, Bella started talking to herself.she was so stressed out.

_BELLA: what should I do, I love him and at the same time scared.what if he's just trying to deceive me then marry that other lady.oh God what should I do .I have to make a decision within the next few hours.

Eve came back from school 3 hours later and saw Bella lying on the couch and lost in thought.she did not even notice when she got inside.

_EVE: Hey Bella, what are you thinking about?

_BELLA: Oh sorry, I was lost in thought that I didn't notice your presence.

_EVE: That's fine.what were you thinking about?

_BELLA: Richmond was here today.

_EVE: really?( Pretending to be surprised)

_BELLA: Yes .

_EVE: What did he say?

_BELLA:He asked me to meet him at Mahima restaurant this evening at 7pm. He also said if I don't show up he will forget about me.

_EVE: So what have you decided?

_BELLA: I have been thinking since morning but I don't seem to have an answer.

_EVE: Bella stop playing hard to get.you love this guy but each time he wants to come close you push him away and when you see him with a lady you come here crying.Grow up girl. He won't spend his whole life running after you.

_BELLA: you are right.i have to make a decision.

It was about 6:30 pm that evening when Richmond arrived at the restaurant in question.he went to the VIP section where his table was reserved. He took a bottle of mineral water and started drinking while waiting for Bella.He was praying that she should show up and at the same time scared because Bella seems to be very stubborn.

_RICHMOND: it's already few minutes past 7 and Bella is still not here.i can't afford to loose her and I already said if she doesn't come tonight I will never bother her.oh God I shouldn't have said so.After waiting for almost an hour he decided to go back home.just when he was about entering the car somebody placed a hand on his shoulder.just from the hand on his shoulder he knew whom the person was.his heart started beating faster.when he turned to look..

_RICHMOND: Bella, I thought you won't come again ,as you can see I was already leaving.

_BELLA: I'm sorry for coming a bit late, I was stuck in traffic.

_RICHMOND: that's fine.lets go back inside.

_BELLA: OK.

They went inside and ordered some food and drinks.while eating…

_RICHMOND: I'm sorry for the way I came into your life.We don't choose when to love or whom to love. My last relationship ended a year ago and I decided to focus on work and forget about women but everything changed the moment I set my eyes on you.i have not been myself since I met you Bella, the more I try to forget about you the more my love for you keeps increasing. I'm sorry.

_BELLA: before the accident, I had a lot of plans and dating was not one of them. I know I have not been behaving well towards you and for that I'm very sorry. Firstly I blamed you for the accident which was not even your fault .

When they finished eating Richmond decided to play his last card.

_RICHMOND: Bella ( holding her hands)if you don't love me I will understand . At least I will go knowing that I tried my best.When you hide your feelings you are hurting yourself .Thank you for coming tonight . this is money for your transport( dropping some banknotes on the table)

He didn't wait for Bella to say anything , he started walking away and when he was almost reaching his car,...

_BELLA: I love you Richmond, yes I have loved you too from the very first day I saw you.i have tried to convince myself that I don't love you but it's more than me . I have never felt this way before. I have always handled any situation but this one is more than me. I'm tired of pretending.when I saw you with that lady I thought my own was finished and when she told me you guys will be getting married I felt like dying. I'm sorry for taking so long to say I love you.

Richmond could not move, he stood there looking at Bella ,he thought he was dreaming.

_RICHMOND: Bella, did you just say you love me? Oh my God I can't believe this.I have Waited for this moment and now that you've finally admitted that you love me I don't know what to say or do.

_BELLA: what do we….

Before she could finish her sentence Richmond shut her with a kiss.oh God, his lips were so soft and sweet like honey, kissing him was like biting a candy, his breath was tickling her face and making her warm, she could not feel the breeze because he was so close to her ,she couldn't feel her legs anymore. His fingers were playing with her hair . Bella wanted this moment to last forever.her eyes were still closed when Richmond said….

_RICHMOND: Bella ?

_BELLA: Oh sorry, ( realising that  he had stopped kissing her)

_RICHMOND: thank you for giving me the chance babe.

_BELLA: Hmmmm ,few minutes ago you were calling me Bella and now it's babe eh

Richmond started laughing.

_RICHMOND: You are now my girlfriend so it's different. I'm so happy. Come let me take you home.

She accepted and when they arrived at her place…

_BELLA: Thank you for bringing me home. 

_RICHMOND: It's my duty to protect you, my love.

_BELLA: ok sweetie.

_RICHMOND:I love you.( giving her a kiss on the cheek.

_BELLA: good night 

_RICHMOND: Good night my love.Go inside please.

Bella was so happy, she told Eve everything that happened and Eve was so happy for her.She went to bed that night while thinking about the kiss.

_BELLA:I never knew love was this beautiful. I can't even stop thinking about the way he kissed me oh God, and that was my first kiss. I'm so happy .I can't wait to tell my bestie everything.

After talking to herself, she slept off.while Richmond on the other side was still up thinking about Bella and talking to himself.

_RICHMOND: I can't stop thinking about you Bella,what have you given to me?.it's not up to a month that i have known you but it seems like I have known you since birth.i don't know what the future holds but I won't let you go .I will do everything to make you happy my bella.i know it's not going to be sweet everyday but no matter what happens I will always stand by you.

After talking to himself Richmond fell asleep.

Kendra still can't get over the fact that Richmond chose Bella over her.Being the only child, her parents have always given her anything she wanted.She does not take no for an answer. That's why she promised to deal with Bella for taking what belongs to her.

_KENDRA: Good morning Dad.

_MR GEORGE: good morning darling

_KENDRA: Dad, you told me the other time that Richmond had no woman in his life right?

_MR GEORGE: yes, that's what his father told me.is there any problem?

_KENDRA: Well, I think his dad did not tell you the truth.the other day at the cinema I caught Richmond telling one dirty girl that he loves her so much.Dad can you imagine that he preferred that girl to me? the daughter of a  senator being rejected because of one wretched girl.i won't let that happen. Dad you have to do something.( Crying)

_ MR GEORGE: oh my daughter, don't worry.i will talk to his dad. Like I said, he's my friend.

_KENDRA: I don't want to lose him to that low class girl.

_MR GEORGE: calm down my baby.you know I always give you anything you want.

Kendra was still not satisfied with what her father said.so she decided to apply her plan B.

Later that evening, she went to Richmond's place unannounced.he was inside his bedroom when Kendra walked in.when he saw her , he wanted to ask how she got in, that's when he remembered that his door was opened.

_KENDRA: hey baby( trying to embrace him)

_RICHMOND: Stop! Who asked you to come here ? And what are you doing in my bedroom dressed like a p********e?

_KENDRA: Calm down baby, don't you like what you are seeing ( trying to seduce him)

_RICHMOND: stop calling me baby and leave my room.Only one woman is allowed to enter here.

_KENDRA: I can give you what that low class girl can never give you.

_RICHMOND: hahahaha.you are so pathetic Kendra. Unfortunately that low class girl like you say,  has something that I don't see in you.you might be somebody else's choice but not mine.

_KENDRA: You are hurting me baby ( crying) I'm ready to remain here with you.I have even postponed my journey because of you . Please forget about that girl.

_ RICHMOND: Love is not by force Kendra. You will find true love. Don't accept what our parents want. You will hurt yourself at the end because I'm not leaving Bella.

_KENDRA: I love you.I know you won't believe me .

_RICHMOND: forget about me please.you are a beautiful lady, the right man for you will come at the right time.

_KENDRA: If you know that I'm beautiful, why not love me?

_RICHMOND: It's not about beauty, I have seen many beautiful women but my heart has chosen Bella.

_KENDRA: then do one last thing for me

_RICHMOND:tell me

Kendra is a girl who does not accept defeat, she's ready to go to any extreme to get what she wants.

_KENDRA: I want you to sleep with me ,just once and I promise to go back to Spain and never bother you.( trying to remove her dress.

_RICHMOND:What? I can't do that.

Before he could finish the sentence, Kendra had removed her dress and was standing naked.
