FORBIDDEN LOVE

CHAPTER 14

When we love someone we are willing to go extra Miles to make sure that they are safe. Richmond was riding as fast as he could ,the life of the woman he loved was in danger and he could not afford to lose her. He was prepared to face anything to ensure Bella's safety . When he got there he saw Patrick outside too and remembered that he had seen him at the cinema with Eve so he told him that he received a call from Eve earlier . they did not hesitate to enter only to find a man almost r****g Bella.

_RICHMOND: How dare you lay your filthy hands on her( pushing the man off Bella) 

Richmond was very furious. Patrick carried Bella inside because she was unconscious.Richmond punched that guy on the nose and they started fighting . When he saw that Richmond was more powerful he took to his heels.

_EVE: wake up Bella ( crying) 

_ PATRICK : stop crying babe. She will be fine .

_RICHMOND: Bella my love, please I'm sorry for not coming earlier. Wake up , everything is ok now.

While he was still talking, Bella started coughing.when she opened her eyes, she remembered what happened earlier and started crying quietly . Richmond felt bad to see her in this condition.he tried to assure her that everything was ok not knowing that something bigger was waiting for them.

_BELLA: I don't know who wants to hurt me, I have never had issues with anyone …

when she said that , she remembered that Kendra promised to deal with her

_BELLA: Oh my God. She's responsible for this 

_EVE: Who are you talking about?

_BELLA: the girl that threatened me at the cinema the other day.

_RICHMOND: Kendra! oh my God.i hope she does not have a hand in this .she will hear from me.

_EVE: if that's the case then she has bitten more than she can chew.

Richmond decided to take Bella back to his place.she was still traumatized after what happened so Eve asked him to take Bella to his place .Eve also left with Patrick because they were scared that man might come back to finish what he started.Bella was reluctant to spend the night with Richmond but Eve assured her that she is in good hands.

Richmond was sleepless that night.he was waiting to confront Kendra very early the next day.kendra on the other end was busy celebrating but her good mood turned sour when her contact said he did not succeed.

_ KENDRA: how did it go?

_UNKNOWN: I'm sorry, she was rescued by some guys. I was not aware that she was cohabitating with her cousin.

_KENDRA: You are so careless! Make sure You don't mention my name. Don't call me again. I will forward your money to you Tomorrow morning.

From the description the man gave Kendra ,understood that it was Richmond that rescued Bella, Kendra became more furious.She started talking to herself…

_KENDRA: I can't believe he rescued her, I have to act fast. I can't back down, I will teach Bella a lesson.

Kendra is not ready to move on, she has other plans . Richmond got up the following day and decided to call Kendra.

_RICHMOND: Hello Kendra.

_KENDRA: …….

_RICHMOND: Bella was attacked last night and I believe you are responsible because you threatened her a week ago and promised to deal with her when you saw her at the cinema.i just want to give you a last warning , stay away from my girlfriend.i won't be this polite next time.

_KENDRA: hahahaha tell me you are joking.how dare you call me this early just to accuse me of something I know nothing about? .You better come back to your senses because you are beginning to lose it.

After talking to Kendra, Richmond realized that he was dealing with a woman that was ready to go to any extent to obtain what she wanted. So he decided to talk to his parents .

When Richmond left  work that evening, he decided to go to his parents and tell them about all the happenings.luckily both his dad and mom were home.

_MR ROLAND :My son , what brings you here? 

_RICHMOND: Don't I have the right to come here again? Hahahaha.

_MRS SHANNEN : Don't mind your dad ,you can come here as many times as you want.But I'm also curious to know why you are here.have a seat let me get you some food.

Mrs Shannen served her husband and son food.When they finished eating , Richmond decided to tell them the reason for his presence.

_RICHMOND: I came here today because of a situation that I believe is getting out of hand and if I don't seek your help first ,I might end up doing something terrible.

_MR ROLAND : What is the matter son?

_RICHMOND: You remember the discussion we had last time in my office and I told you I have found a girl that I love so much right? Well, Kendra found out about our relationship and threatened to deal with Bella. I didn't take her serious until someone tried to r**e Bella at her apartment yesterday and I believe Kendra is responsible for that attack.

_MRS SHANNEN : How far are you sure she's the one son?

_RICHMOND: I'm very certain . Kendra is just a spoiled brat.I came here so you can talk to her Dad. I don't want to have anything to do with Kendra. She's not my kind of woman.

_MR ROLAND : Don't jump into conclusions son.if truly she did what you've just said it means she's really interested in you.Just give her a chance and you might discover that she's a wonderful person.

_RICHMOND: I don't need any other woman. I've found the woman I love and Bella is that woman. I will be presenting her to you very soon.

_MR ROLAND : I don't know about your mom, as for me I have chosen Kendra and that's final .

_MRS SHANNEN : listen to your dad son.

_RICHMOND: no mother. I won't let dad use politics and destroy my life. I'm man enough to make my choice.

Richmond was not satisfied with what his parents said. He didn't expect anything better ,he just wanted them to know what he's going through.He went home and met Bella cooking.

_RICHMOND: Hmmmmm something smells good inside here( entering the kitchen)

_BELLA: yeah I'm cooking fried rice and chicken , your favourite.welcome home babe.how was your day?

_RICHMOND: Oufff I had a busy day,thank God tomorrow is Sunday.

_BELLA: You look worried.is anything the matter?

_RICHMOND: Well, I went to see my parents concerning Kendra and their response was just as I expected.they kept defending Kendra. trying to sugar-coat what she did and making it look like she did it out of love.

_BELLA: That's fine Babe.i hope she is not planning to do something stupid again.

_RICHMOND:I hope so too because I won't take things easy if she tries to hurt you again.

Richmond and Bella went to bed after eating.Richmond cuddled her and they slept till morning.Bella made breakfast for him before going to buy groceries from the market.

Bella and Richmond were home having a good time when Bella's phone started ringing..

ON PHONE

_BELLA: Hello

_UNKNOWN: Bella darling, ( a male voice) I know your every move and I can do anything I want to make sure you are miserable.stop whatsoever you have with Richmond and be safe, else you won't live to tell the story.hahahaha

Richmond heard Everything since Bella's phone was on hand free.they were shocked and Bella was trembling, fear was written all over her.

_RICHMOND:calm down babe.nothing will happen to you.i will protect you from any harm I promise.

_BELLA: Why is all this happening to me? ( crying) 

_RICHMOND: don't worry we will sort it out.nothing will happen to you.

Bella received a death threat from an unknown person. It was actually another person sent by Kendra. 

Kendra decided to go to the hospital for a check-up. Nobody is aware of her pregnancy yet.when she arrived at the hospital, she did various tests . When the results were ready, she was told to wait for the doctor, while waiting she decided to call the man he sent to spy Bella.if only she knew that calling him while at the hospital was a very bad idea.

_KENDRA: Hey , I hope you have your eyes on Bella.i will tell you the appropriate time to act.Make sure you make her life a living hell.

_UNKNOWN: yes miss.you can count on me.i always deliver.

_KENDRA: good.i will send part of your payment.

Actually Patrick ( Eve's boyfriend) is a doctor at that hospital and Kendra didn't notice his presence so he heard everything she said.patrick pretended like he didn't hear anything…

_PATRICK: Good morning Miss….

_KENDRA: Kendra please.good morning doctor.

_PATRICK: Well, you are actually two months pregnant and all your test results are good.But I can only give you one piece of advice,stop stressing too much.

_KENDRA: It's not my fault.The man responsible for my condition abandoned me when I told him I was pregnant.

When Patrick heard that he understood why she's ready to go to any extent to have Richmond.she actually wants a father for her baby.

_PATRICK: Oh sorry about that.But your family will support you so why are you stressed out?

_KENDRA: they are not aware of my condition. My father is a senator and I don't want any scandal because elections are fast approaching.

_PATRICK: OH ,I think you should tell them.you can't hide it for long.you need them now more than ever.

_KENDRA: thanks doctor, I will tell them with Time.i have some important things to handle. Have a great day.

When she left, Patrick decided to remove his phone and check if he actually recorded everything and then slide his phone back  to his pocket. This piece of information will help in the days ahead. Kendra your moments of Grace will be over soon.
