What a Feline baby!

Carter wakes up at four in the morning to Willow crying. He gives her a bottle and picks her up and feeds her. Laura wakes up and looks over and says, I love this look on you. Carter says," I can't believe this is real." Laura smiles and says me too. Carter sits down in the chair across the room and holds Willow close. All of a sudden, he felt her start to purr. He looks up at Laura and says," I'm not sure, but I think she is purring at me". Laura smiles and says yes, she will soon begin to get her claws as well. A couple of hours go by and Carter just sits rocking Willow to sleep. Carter sits just in disbelief. He tells Laura, I know you and your family are cats, but this is so much to take in within such a small amount of time. Carter says, can you get up? She gives Carter a look of pain and says," My stomach hurts but I really need to use the restroom. Carter now has the baby rocked to sleep, and lays her in her crib. He walks over to the side of the bed and kisses her forehead, and says, well I can help you. Just as she goes to get up out of bed, they hear another knock at the door. Carter lets her sit back down on the bed. Carter walks to the door and opens it to see Dr. Roy. Dr. Roy says hello Carter, I just came to do a check-up on Laura. Carter says OK, she is over there on the bed," as he motions to Dr. Roy to come in. Dr. Roy says hello Laura, are you having any pain this morning? Laura says, yes, my stomach is hurting. He asks her to lay back so he can assess her incision. Laura lies back as Dr. Roy lifts her shirt and looks at her stomach. He says everything looks okay, but it will take about two weeks to heal up properly. She says OK, can I use the restroom now? Dr. Roy says yes, just please take it easy for these two weeks. He reminds her to not pick up anything heavy or any strenuous activity. Laura agrees, and Carter walks over to help her up and to walk to the bathroom and Dr. Roy helps Laura, on the other hand.

After they get her to the restroom, Dr. Roy says he has to go, but if she needs anything to let him know, he sits a bottle of pills on the counter. Dr. Roy says here are your pain meds, take them every 4 hours as needed. He walks out. Carter helps her to the toilet and goes back to the room. Willow starts to cry and Carter goes and gets her a bottle. He sits in the chair and feeds Willow, and he rocks her back to sleep. Carter lays her down in her crib and goes to the bathroom to check on Laura. He sees Laura in the shower, and says "Oh my, you are so beautiful". She smiles and tells him to stop gawking at her. They both smile and Carter says "Hmm, I can't wait til your all healed, to get my hands back on your sweet body". As he runs his hands around the shower door, he grabs her waist and leans in to her neck and whispers in her ear. You are gorgeous, I just want to hold you close. As she laughs and says oh maybe in a couple weeks, and shuts the shower door. She giggles at him, knowing she put him where she wants him. He says why didnt you tell me you were getting in the shower?" I could have come to help. I was feeding Willow and put her back to sleep. She says" I know you could have helped, but I need to move on my own so I can heal properly." Agreeing, Carter says OK, well just let me know if you need help. Laura smiles and says" I truly appreciate it, thank you for taking such good care of me through this. Carter smiles and says," of course, your my wife", and walks to the next room to hear a knock on their bedroom door. He walks over and opens the door to see Imba and Carissa. Carissa says," Well good morning, I am here to help take care of Willow and Laura. Imba is here to speak with you. Carter, with a grin fading into a serious face, says OK. Imba says get dressed me and you are going to my office. Carter says" alright, let me get dressed and tell Laura you are here, Mrs. Carissa. Carter, as he pulls away from shutting the door, grabs some pants and an old button-up shirt from his suit case and throws them on as he walks over to the bathroom. Sweetheart, are you still OK? I am going to your father's office to talk with him and your mother is here to help you and to stay with Willow. Laura says yes, I'm OK. I am just enjoying the hot water. Tell her to come in. Carter smiles and says OK, I will be back in a little while. I love you. Laura smiles and says, I love you as well. Carter shuts the restroom door and pulls his shoes on as he walks to the door again. Hello, Mrs. Carissa, your welcome to come in. As Carter walks into the hallway, he sees a woman and Imba speaking. Imba says come, we have things to discuss.

They both walked down the hall to a big corridor, and down another hall. They walked into a big office filled with a huge empty desk. Imba says, you can sit down. This may take a minute. Carter looks in front of him and two chairs come up from the floor. As Carter hears an electric noise, the chairs stop and spin around so he can sit down. As Imba goes and sits at his desk, he says, now we have to get this out of the way, now that I am calm. Carter says," I assume we are talking about Laura's Kidnapping"? Imba says yes, I want the details. Who, when, where and how long she was gone. Carter says, personally," I have no idea who, or where she was". However, I do know that they kept her a hostage for six months. She disappeared the night we were supposed to see each other, and I thought she had bailed on me. I had gone to her apartment, but everything looked gone, like she had packed up in a hurry and left. That's when I thought that she just didn't want to see me anymore, and left completely. So, I didn't go looking for her. Then one day, out of no where, she shows up and tells me that she was kidnapped by two men asking for a lighter and was thrown in with werewolves. Also, they stole all of her things. That's all she has told me. Oh, and also that she thought it was you that wanted her kidnapped. However, now that I have been around you for a few days, I believe it was indeed someone else. Imba snarls, and says of course it wasn't me. I will have a search party to find these men. Carter says that is great. I would love to be able to go home and not have Laura scared of what might happen. These men followed us from Miami, Florida all the way to Morristown, New York. They are keeping tabs on Laura. I am not sure why, but this man named Luke Harris kept calling and showing up as well. He followed us to New York as well, now that I think about it. He was claiming to be some sort of Border patrol. I'm sure he had to be part of this. Imba is growing mad, and says I believe I know this man. As he pulls a laptop from under the desk, and shows Carter a picture of this man. Carter says yes, that man was Luke Harris. Imba says no, this man makes up several fake names, he is the leader of the wolf pack originating in California. My guess is that they have been following Laura from when she moved from California. Sometimes, werewolves can smell felines and believe that they are part of the pack. However, they are dumb, and can't tell a difference. Ugh, they pist me off. Imba turns red and says," Don't worry, all of these men will be handled. Carter smiles, and says" I trust you. Imba says thank you for letting me know.

A couple of hours went by as they sat and drank coffee, getting to know each other. Carter says thank you for letting me feel like i am a part of this family. It feels a little pushed, but I am very happy with Laura, she makes me feel alive. All this talk of "Cat people" kind of scared me to be honest. You have made me feel better about this whole situation. Thank you Mr. Imba. Imba smiles and says, I know you're not aware of any of our ways, but I can sense you love my daughter. Carter smiles and says, so how do you sense things if just your wife is a Feline? Imba smiles and says" Oh! I didn't tell you that if a cat does a certain activity to you, you could become a feline as well? Carter, in shock, says they can turn people into felines. Imba says yes, they can. They have to be sure you're strong enough. Laura will inform you if she feels as though you are feline material. Carissa wanted me to be able to feel what she felt, so she helped me become a male feline. Imba smiles and says, Oh, your time is coming Carter, just live life until it does. Carter smiles and says thank you Imba, I believe its time for me to go back and check on Laura. Looking at the time, Imba says" Oh yes, I didn't mean to take you away from her or that baby. They laugh, and stand up and walk down the hallway.
