Joanne’s POV The doctor’s glare could have cut through steel. I could see the conviction in his eyes; he didn’t want to listen to me; he didn’t want to believe me. “If you’re wrong—” “Then you can throw me out,” I finish for him. “But if I’m right, you will save his life.
