Joanne’s POV
The way Alexander kissed me was like a man starved, and I was a tasty piece of meat that he couldn’t get enough of. I could feel the heat of him all the way to the tip of my toes, and I parted my lips slightly, wanting to invite him into my mouth and deepen the kiss.
He wrapped his arms firmly around me, pulling me into his broad body, and I fit against him like I was made for him, like my body was created to fit against his. I could feel every muscle tensing beneath my touch as my fingers danced with the buttons of his shirt.
I had never been this bold before, but something about Alexander made me want to take exactly what I wanted, and lord knows that I wanted this man more than I wanted my next breath.
