Joanne’s POV
I was surprised that it took them that quickly to find Alpha Anthony. As predicted, he was lurking in the shadows of Eboncrest around the borders. He, too, used a potion that masked his scent, the same as Christa.
It turns out the others that were captured with Christa were also under the same orders, but they were already executed.
It only took them a few hours to find and capture Anthony. By then, most at the ball had already left. I was back in Alexander’s suite, freshly bathed and changed into something more comfortable. Alexander came and told me that Alpha Anthony was on his way to the Grand Hall, awaiting his interrogation.
“I want to see him,” I tell Alexander before he has the chance to tell me to stay behind.
