“Look here,” Angie said, waving the newspaper in the air as she sat on the couch. “It says, ‘Biker Arrested for Murder.”’
“Is that your murder case?” Rachel asked.
“Well, not exactly mine, but, yes, it’s about James being attacked by a biker,” she said, turning toward her mother sitting out on the balcony. “No bond given. They have strong DNA evidence, too. He’s going to prison for sure.”
“That’s good news,” Joe said from the balcony. “Why don’t you come out and join us?”
“Okay.” She moved outside to the empty chair. “I love these peaceful nights under the stars. After everything that’s happened lately, this is so refreshing.”
“How come you aren’t with Brian tonight?” Rachel asked.
“He’s working. This is my extra day off, so I can do my marketing.” Angie smiled when she s
