Josh had his suitcase packed. This wouldn’t be a long trip. At least he didn’t intend it to be. He wanted to get back to continue his pursuit of Angie. She was hot, and a bit naïve, despite all her travels. He didn’t mind that. It made for an easier conquest. He was all about conquests. He had looks, charm, and money. He knew how to maneuver women. And he had set his sights on Angie.
His father had already given him directions on how to close three deals he had on the table. Whenever he was sent out to handle business, it was usually to collect what was owed. John didn’t like to be owed anything. He expected timely pay, and if not, well, Josh handled the details. He never asked how, just anticipate the job would get done. And it always did. Josh was good at his job.
