Any way, days turn into week, weeks into months and months into years.

I have been ignoring the alpha son even when he was trying to mind link me but I block him out, but I know I can't ignore him forever, because am inside his territory, so I decided to move to the human world but I didn't stay there for more than a year and the half when the Alpha called me back, no I mean commanded me back to the pack.

I went back to the bluestone pack and it felt like I was missing a part of me, I didn't go to my house, I went to the alpha office and I stood at the door

then the guard announce my arrival and I proceed into the office when I was inside the office, I bow and said “ greetings Alpha "

“ rise" The alpha said

I raise up my head and I saw the person I was trying to ignore was sitting down opposite the alpha and was sipping coffee and was looking at me, no surprise look, nothing

Then I felt someone penetrating in my mind “ Hello Gray, it been a while"

it was Carl but how come he can mind link me, I thought I block him from mind linking me

“ I know what you are thinking, you are wonderful how am able to mind link you, well let say I can do it since but I just wanted to give some space to cool off"

Carl said through the mind link

“ Gray ! Gray ! Gray ! ” The Alpha called me

“ yes Alpha " I replied

“ you were spacing out, why is that" The Alpha asked

“ sorry Alpha, I was just tried " I said bowing my head

“ where you tried or where you thinking about me baby " Carl said through the mind link which make me to glare at him, he look at me too while smiling not backing down either

“ so Gray, since your birthday will be on the next two days " The Alpha said bringing me back to reality

“ yes Alpha, it is indeed my birthday in two days time " I said even though I technically forgot my birthday

“ so on the next day is my son coronation day of been the alpha along side is mate even though we don't know him yet " The Alpha said while sighing

“ what !!!!!! " I said, I couldn't believe my ears

“ what happened Gray " the alpha asked worriedly

“ nothing alpha, I was just surprised " I said trying to cover up how anxious I am

“ where you surprise or were you anxious on whether I will call you or not on my coronation day baby " Carl said through the mind link

“ stop calling me baby your highness, I am not feeling comfortable with it " I said trying to sound compose

surprisedly Carl stopped and he also stopped mind linking me which make me focus on what the alpha was saying

“ so on the night of your birthday, you will look for someone to accompany you while you turn to your wolf form " The Alpha said but when I wanted to say ' yes sir ' Carl talked first and said

“ Dad, if you may permit, I would love to excort my beta on his birthday when he turn wolf "

“ alright son " the alpha said

“ alpha, your highness, I can go on my own I don't need anyone to follow me " I said trying to convince the alpha

then Carl stood up and came to my side and said “ I am not just anyone, I am your future alpha, so I suppose to know what my look like, isn't that so ? "

“ yes my son his right, let him follow you, afterall he must know what is beta look like " the alpha said

“ yes alpha" I said and I bow and left the office but not before mind linking Carl that “ if on my birthday and he turn out not to be my mate he should stop chasing after me "

which of course Carl agreed

and I left the alpha office leaving behind Carl and I went straight to the beta house which of course will soon be mine

Two days later

My birthday party was organized in the night the same as Carl own when he did his birthday even though my birthday was not great like Carl own, it was till fet for a prince party.

everyone was waiting for when I will turn wolf so that the alpha will reveal his mate tomorrow

I was really anxious about what will happen tomorrow.

when it was almost time for the moon to come out, my father told me to go outside and I stood up and walk to the exist of the hall

but when I was pass I could smell a very sweet fragrance, it was a milky and mint fragrance, I ignore the smell and went out of the hall

I was wondering where Carl was or maybe he realizes that I was not really is mate so he didn't come

when the moon was out I could feel my body burning up and hair coming out of my and hand and my bone switch position and bending and I went on all four then I turn to my wolf

I noticed I was not has big has Carl own but it was bigger than any other wolf I have seen, my wolf fur was brown in colour

then suddenly my was sniff the air and he started howling for joy, and I think maybe we have our mate and I could smell the same milk and mint fragrance and I said mate

I turn to see who my mate was, I couldn't believe my eye at the person who was standing there .........
