(Silas) Ares and I were drained, physically and emotionally. Finding out the rogues were doing the bidding for Blood Moon had nearly made us feral. After I'd seen where the rogue was headed and tortured him to get the info, Ares ended him by nearly decapitating him. We had numbly run to the alpha, upon the beta's request. I didn't even care that I was covered in blood. Seeing Grace had pierced my heart. Ares whimpered, desperate to have her comfort after our encounter. But I couldn't let that happen. It would just make things harder in the long run. I successfully avoided her for weeks, lessening the pull I felt for her. Being in the same room as her was threatening to cripple me. I left as soon as I was dismissed only to be halted in my steps by her calling to me. I couldn't fight it
