Jax locked me in his office. I stood there, my heart racing as every worst possible scenario filtered through my head.
Jax had dragged me here after he'd ordered his men to take Silas to the dungeon. He didn't say a word to me before he shut and locked the door. Panic and adrenaline were coursing through me.
"Let me out of here!" I screamed angrily. I began to pace the room as I heard heavy footsteps in the hall. I instinctively backed away from the door, scared that Jax might come back in. But when he didn't show up after a few minutes I breathed a sigh of relief.
Theo! Help me! I'm stuck in the alpha office! Jax and Silas are fighting, I need to get out of here! I mind linked him desperately.
Gracie, why on earth are you locked in the office? I'm on my way! Theo answered
