(Grace) Silas jolted awake in the middle of the night, sitting upright, effectively pulling me awake since he left my arms. He rubbed his hands over his face. I sat up sleepily and hugged him from behind. He relaxed into my embrace and I squeezed him tighter. "I don't even remember falling asleep" he said, his voice thick. "You were exhausted," I replied, my cheek pressed against his shoulder. He hummed in response. "Are you hungry?" I asked. His tummy rumbled as if on cue, "Apparently I am," he scoffed.
