(Grace) Silas was very on edge. I couldn't stay with him while he received his scan but I was allowed to wait close by for him. I stood by Corin as she scrutinized the scans. "We'll need to call neurology to confirm but I think Silas has a concussion and some swelling," Corin thought aloud. "Will he get his memory back?" I asked. I hated for him to be waiting for his mother, thinking she was choosing to not come to him. Corin nodded, "Once we get the swelling down." "What do we tell him about his mother?" I asked weakly. Corin met my eyes and smiled sadly, "We try to keep him off the topic for now. We don't want to upset him but we breach the topic of her death gently if it comes to that.
