I tried to keep myself composed as I waited for Max or Tyler to report back. Theo was observant all the while. He was a good Beta. He was reading my body language like a book.
Grace was silently crying, holding herself as she tried to lean as far away from me as possible. She believed my father. She believed that I was going to have Silas killed while she was away. I wish she knew how much I cared for her. That I would live with her fated mate being close to her just to make her happy, though I couldn't admit it just yet.
Finally I got an answer, Leo tried to kill Silas. Luna Sarai saved him..... I'm not sure how she did it but Leo.... he can't speak, can barely move, .... what is she? Tyler was clearly shaken up by what he'd seen.
