The next day Vallery escorted me to my new home. It was one of the village homes I saw on my tour. Once we got there, she opened the door for me. Im not gonna lie, it looks really nice.
"Thank you." I told her.
"No problem!" She said.
Once you walk into the door of the home. Its an open space with a kitchen and a lounge area. There is a downstairs where I assume is my bedroom and a space for my choosing.
"Hey I have a question."
"Ask away!" She said.
"I need like, a book of notes that I can have to remember all the thing's that I've missed." I said.
"Oh that reminds me! Follow me I need to show you something!" She shouted grabbing my hand running out the door.
Her house was across from mine. She opened the door and dragged me inside. She let go once we were inside and she ran downstairs. I followed. When I reached the bottom I was shocked. She had a desk with a feather and ink and a couple of papers and books.
The most impressive thing though was the bookshelves she had on the walls. The only wall the was not covered was the one her bed was against.
"Wow, so many books!" I said in awe. "What are they all about?"
"Some of them are about our gods. Others are about our world, Shadow knights, magic, and other things. Just know you are welcome to come here and read whenever you want!"
"Thank you! And I also have another question."
"What is it?" She asked.
"You mentioned before that there are six other people in this village which is eight including me and Ben. Me and Ben make two. You, Jordan, Stormy and the guy I met at first make 6. Who are the other two?"
Her eyes lit up. "Follow me!" She said running outside leaving me to catch up to her.
"Geez she's fast..." I thought.

We reached the garden and wheat field. I saw someone working among it. Someone new.
Vallery ran up to the guy and greeted him. Im assuming he said hello back. I was watching from a distance so I couldn't hear what was said. Vallery held his arm and pointed at me, trying to get him to follow. The both of them came over to me.
"This is John!" Vallery exclaimed.
I had to look up to make eye contact with him. If I had to give a visual on how tall he is. I am fairly certain he is 6ft 4 or higher. He has golden eyes and shoulder length red hair. He has a brown scarf with a cyan shirt and blue jeans. He also has a red cloth wrapped on one of his arms that the sleeve is rolled up on.
"H-hi! Im Spade!" I said holding out my hand.
He softly smiled. "Im John." He said shaking my hand.
I blushed a little because he also has a fairly deep voice. But not like Zack's.
At that moment I kinda forgot that Vallery could read minds because she smirked at me.
"John here is a farmer. You didn't see him yesterday because he was just getting back from going out for supplies." She explained.
"Ah, I see. Well it's nice to meet you!"
"Likewise." He said.
I think I blushed a bit at that moment. Not sure why though.
Vallery dragged me away by my collar. Once we got around the corner she let me go.
"What was that about?" I whisper yelled.
"You like him don't you?" She asked teasingly.
"What? No... besides I just met him." I defended.
"Right... Which brings me to another thing. Zack wants to see you." She said.
"Zack? Who is that?" I ask.
"Oh right! I forgot you don't know names. I was told that you gave him his pin back yesterday. Is that right?"
"Oh yes, I did. What does he need me for?" I ask.
"I don't know. He just told me to get you to come by whenever you can."
"Um, ok then. Where does he live?" I ask.
"He lives in the house that you woke up at when you arrived here." She told me.
"Ok. I'll see you later." I said and waved her goodbye.
I walked towards the home. Knocked on the door, No answer.
"Vallery said he'd be here..."
I turned the doorknob, the door was unlocked so I went in. All of his lights are on. I closed the door and walked around.
Where the bed was is replaced with a desk. And all around are various half finished weapons and material.
"Why does he have all of this stuff?" I thought.
"Hey Zack! You home?" I call out.
I hear banging come from the back room he has in his house. I walk over towards the door and reach out to open it. But instead he bursts through the door sideways knocking me down.
"Ouch." I hear him mumble.
He gets on his knees and looks down. Im propping myself on my arm still laying down. His narrow eyes widen.
"Ah! Im so sorry! Are you alright?" He frantically asks getting up and lending me a hand.
I take his hand and he pulls me up to my feet.
"Yeah. I should be asking you that though. Why did you burst through the door?"
His leaf pin turns a light pink. From embarrassment I assume.
"I was going to run out the door but I tripped over one of my projects and busted down the door." He says rubbing the back of his neck.
"Projects?" I ask.
The pink tint faded from the leaf and was replaced with a yellow.
"Oh yeah! Follow me." He said going back into the room.
I followed him. The room I went into had a big window lighting it up. I looked down and was met with some swords and other weapons on the floor. The dots connected.
"Oh! Are you a blacksmith?" I ask.
"Yeah. Just some various projects that I didn't finish." He said.
"Why didn't you finish them?" I ask.
"Well it was either because I didn't have any material or because it didn't turn out like I wanted." He explained.
"Oh, I see."
He looks over to me, the pink tint on his leaf returns.
"I-I wanted to make something for you..." He said.
I looked at him with surprise. I saw him as the cold and emotionless type. But he seems soft once you get to know him.
"You did?" I ask with a smile.
A pink hue dusted across his face. And it dusted on his leaf to.
"Well I tried. But it's not quite like I want it to be." He said.
"Can I see it?"
"Sure. Its over there." He said pointing towards the wall.
It was hanging on the wall. It's a slim paladin sword with a shiny silver blade and rose gold handle.
I gasped in awe and walked over to it.
"Zack, this is beautiful!" I said happily looking back at him.
He smiled. "Im glad you think so."
I walked over and hugged him. He hesitated but hugged back.
I pulled away, we both smiled.
"Oh, and I also wanted to thank you for giving me my pin. It means a lot to me." He said.
"It's no problem at all! Now I got to go. I'll see you later!" I said walking out the home.

Zack's POV
I smiled as I waved goodbye to Spade as she left my house. My smile faded once she left. I took the glass leaf pin out of my hair and sat down. I just stared at it for a while. It was glowing a faint pink.
"Why do I feel this way?" I thought.
I know Spade thought of me as emotionless and cold. The way she looked at me with surprise made it obvious.
And this is true. I would just stay in my home alone with my thought's. And if I did go out, I would give off a cold and mean vibe.
But when she's around it's different. And I noticed that today.
"Maybe- I'll go see her tomorrow..." I said outloud.
