POV- 1st person (Spade) Setting- Forest, Fideen. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- I looked up at my attacker. "I should be asking you the same thing." I retorted. "Answer me!" She demanded. "Spade are you out here?" I heard someone call out. It was Ben. "You brought help huh?" The woman said. I didn't answer. I grabbed her sword and swung it away from my face. I got up and tried to run away but she ran after me. I suddenly felt a pain in my hand. I looked down and her blade cut through my glove and cut my finger's a little bit as well. I saw Ben in the distance. I reached out to him. But suddenly I felt a pain in my back and I fell to the ground. The woman had swung her sword and it cut me. Not very deep but deep enough for it to hurt drastically. Everything around me went into a blur. I could hear muffled voices. I didn't know what was going on but I wanted it to stop. But I couldn't get up. So I closed my eyes and hoped for the best. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- When I opened my eyes again, I noticed I was in a different setting. I was in a house on a bed. I quickly sat up and looked around. "Where is Ben? And where am I?" I thought. I had bandages wrapped around me covering my wound I assume. My hands were also bandaged up. I got up from the bed. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Someone warned. It caught me off guard because hos voice is deeper than what I've heard. I squeaked. I looked around and my eyes fell on a person sitting in a chair in the corner of the room. I recognized that person immediately. "Its you!" I yelled pointing at him. He raised his eyebrow. "You know me?" He asked. I paused for a moment. "Uh sorry. I guess I should explain..." I put my hand in my pocket and pulled out the leaf pin. I held it in front of me. "Is this yours?" I ask. I could have sworn his eyes widened for a second. "Yes it is." He said blankly. I threw it to him. He caught it and put it in his hair again. It glowed a faint yellow. "Why does it glow?" I ask looking at it. "It glows corresponding to your current emotions." He said. "Yellow is happy, Blue is sad, red is mad, purple is scared, pink is love, white is confusion, and green is jealousy." He explained. I thought for a moment. I looked at him, then looked back at the glass leaf. It was still glowing a faint yellow. I smiled. "So your happy?" I ask contentedly. "Yes." "How long have I been out?" "For about 3 days." "Really? Where am I?" Before he could speak. The door opened to the home. We both looked at it and in came Ben and another woman. The woman stepped aside to let Ben through. Before he could fully step inside I threw myself onto him. "Your ok!" I exclaimed relieved. "I should be saying the same thing about you!" He laughed. The woman stepped inside the home. She had long light gray hair and stormy blue eyes. She has a spear strapped to her back and a black sweater without a sleeve. On her arm without the sleeve are some wrapped bandages. On the shoulder with the sleeve is an armor piece. She also has blue jean shorts and brown boots. "I am terribly sorry for the trouble we've caused." She bowed and apologized. "My name is Stormy. I am the lord of this village, Fideen." "My guard is very protective of our village and tends to attack traveler's often." She explained. "Well thank you for saving me." I praised. She c****d her head to the side. "Me? Your friend here is the one that saved you. If anything I showed up late." I looked at Ben. "You did?" "I did!" He said proudly. "So- am I in your village?" I asked turning to Stormy. "Yes you are! Would you like to take a tour?" She asked. "Yes please!" I I said intrigued. She smiled. "Come with me then." She said turning on her heel. I followed close behind her. I was honestly excited to see this "hidden village." When I got outside the home, I was met with a big beautiful garden. It was filled with all kinds of veggies and fruits. Right next to it was an even bigger wheat field. It swayed in the spring breeze. "Follow me please." She said turning to the left. I followed her. There was a cobble stone path with short flight's of stairs. We took another turn but to the right. I was met with a line of at least four houses. Two on each side of the path. They look cosy. We kept walking down the path and took another right at the end of the houses. It basically wrapped back around the wheat field. When we got about halfway she took an unexpected left off of the cobblestone path. "Uh where are you going?" I asked. "What? You don't think I know my own village?" She replied. I tensed up. She seemed nice but she can also be intimidating. "Im sorry..." I meekly apologized. "Don't be sorry. I can understand, it's a natural instinct. When something makes you uncomfortable you have the right to say something. Don't worry. Where I'm taking I think you'll like." She reassured as she continued walking. I followed. We went through a forest. It was nice and peaceful. Suddenly I felt an unfamiliar breeze hit my face. I looked down and noticed the grass fade and was replaced with sand. I looked up. "A beach?" I asked. "Yep! Peaceful isn't it? I come here to escape from all the drama. Only one other person knows about this place. So think of this as my way of apologizing." She said as she sat down on the warm sand. I sat with her. "What do you mean when you say drama?" She turned towards me. She looked surprised. "Y-you really don't know?" She asked confused. "No I don't." "If you don't mind me asking. Where are you from?" She asked. I hesitated. "Should I tell her? Can I trust her? If I tell her will she send me back?" My thoughts raced. "An orphan?" She suggested. "U-uh yeah! That..." "Ah, I see. We should get back." She said getting up. She lent me her hand. I took it and got up as well. She led me back to the village to finish the tour. We went up a hill to our right. "This is my home. If you need anything then you are welcome to come in anytime!" She said. "Thank you." She then led me down the other side of the hill and went down a flight of stairs. This also led to a small beach spot. But it was more open to the public. "This is the docks. You don't really need to worry about this place unless you want to enjoy the water." She explained. "Alright." I replied. "Hey Spade!" I heard Ben call out from behind me. "So how do you like the village?" He asked. "It's nice! I really like it!" I said. "You know, you are welcome to stay here." She said. "I am? Are you sure it's alright?" I ask. "Of course! You are welcome here! We owe it to you after all." She said. "Thank you very much I-" "My lord!" I heard someone call out behind us. It was a short elf boy with light blue, messy hair and grey eyes covered woth round glasses. He has a light grey sweater on and light blue overalls. He also has grey sneakers with a staff on his back. He was dragging a hot pink headed female. Her hair is long. She has light blueish green eyes. Even though she had the same style of glasses as the boy, her eyes were still captivating. She also has a light blue sweater on with brown overalls connected to a skirt with light brown shoes. "What is it John? Stormy asked. "The situation is getting worse! There have been attacks recorded from another region!" The boy explained fretfully. "I should get going. It's not my business..." Ben said walking away. "What do you mean by attacks?" I asked. Stormy looked at me. "I suppose you need to be taught." She sighed. "John, Vallery. Lets discuss this in my home." She said as she walked back to her house. The boy and girl followed close behind her. I follow to, but at a distance. "What is going on that I have yet to hear about?" I thought.
