Me and John walked back to the village a little bit later.
"Now that you know the route, you can go there anytime!" He said.
"Thank you, I'll see you around!" I said waving goodbye and heading to Stormy's house.
"Everyone should be awake by now." I thought as I knocked on the door.
"Coming!" I heard Stormy shout.
She opened the door moments later. She was in her pajamas so I assumed that she woke up recently.
"Wow, your up early..." She said stepping aside to let me in.
"Yeah, I like waking up early," I said stepping inside.
"If you were wondering, only me and Jordan are awake." She mentioned
"Oh, alright then."
Just then we heard a crash coming from Stormy's library.
"Oh no..." She groaned running towards the sound.
I ran after her. Once we reached her library I saw Jordan on the ground with a pile of books scattered around him.
Stormy was picking up the books and stacking them. So I walked over and lent Jordan my hand.
"You ok?" I ask worriedly.
He took my hand and pulled himself up.
"Thank you." He said pushing up his glasses.
"What is all of this for?" Stormy asked standing up from her formerly crouched position.
"I was researching various subject's to teach Spade about our world. Mostly about the current situation we're in." He explained.
"Doesn't Vallery have a library as well?" I mention.
"She does. I actually got some books from her library and brought them here." He said.
"Well you can teach me now since im here." I said.
"Im afraid I have something for Jordan to do first." Stormy said.
Jordan turned to her.
"What is it?" He asked
"I need you to go to one of the neighboring villages to restock on supplies and possibly get information about the recent invasions." She explained.
"Restock? But don't you guys have resources here?" I asked
Jordan turned back to me.
"Im not sure of you've noticed or not but we don't have a livestock farm. On top of that, we are not a well known village so every now and the we have to go to other villages to restock on supplies we don't have." He explained.
"Ah, I see. Which village are we going to then?"
"Probably either Fieodern or Ancienla." Stormy said.
I tensed up. I'd rather not run into Rose again... And besides, I've never been to Ancienla before.
"How about Ancienla? I've heard that place is famous for it's population of magic casters and Elf's!"
"I suppose we could go there... Unless if Jordan objects." She said.
"That's fine with me. Is there anyone else going?" Jordan asked.
"Probably John. He might need to get more supplies for the garden." She mentioned.
"Does John usually go with you?"
"When we go to Ancienla, yeah. He loves that place." He said.
"Would you go inform him that we are leaving soon?" She asked.
"Of course!" I said spinning around to walk out the door.
"I believe his house is right across from mine." I thought heading towards the row of houses.
Once I got to his home I knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" I heard him call out.
"It's me!"
"Who is me?" I heard him ask jokingly.
I pouted. "Shut up and open the door." I retorted.
He opened the door with the ghost of a smile.
"Sorry, couldn't help it. What do you need?" He asked
"Me and Jordan are leaving soon to go to Ancienla. He was wondering if you wanted to come." I explained.
"Say no more. I'll be ready in 10 minutes." He said.
"Good! Meet us outside the village!" I said waving goodbye heading back towards Stormy's house.
I was about to arrive but stoped halfway in front of Zach's house.
There was a note on the front door that caught my attention.
"Out getting material's. Will be back tomorrow."
"Im going to a different village. And the last time I did that I got attacked and had to depend on Ben. Since Zack made me a weapon I might as well use it..." I thought.
The door wasn't locked so I walked in. The light of day lit up the room so I could see.
I walked to the back room of the house and found the sword he made me. It was hanging up and there was a baldric next to it on the ground.
I picked up the baldric and swung it oved my shoulder, then put the sword in it.
I saw that he has a notebook on his desk. I tore a page out of it and wrote a note with a pencil.
"Hey Zack, I am going on a supply run with a few other people. I decided to take the sword you made me and a baldric in case I need to defend myself. Hope you don't mind! -Spade"
I left the note on his desk and walked out the door to meet up with the others.
Ben was on the path waiting for me.
"Hey, what's holding you?" He asked.
"Nothing. Just left a note for Zach."
His face went blank for a moment. So I scrambled to change the subject.
"H-Hey! Where are the others?"
"Oh, They are waiting for us outside the village."
We started to walk towards them. When they got in my sight I noticed their were no horses.
"Hey, just how are we going to get there anyway?"
"Hm? Oh I was told that we are going on foot." He said.
"Wait- What?"
