Chapter 3

Now who gave him permission to do that! Struggling I couldn't seem to get out of his grip as he tried to stick his tongue down my throat. I moved my head to the right making his lips trail kisses against my jaw line. My wolf was yelling inside of me, ready to surface but I of course controlled her not to. Having my mouth free to speak I did so.

"Connor Stop! Get of me!" I yelled. But he ignored me and nobody heard I guess since the music was so loud the floor shook.

"Get the f**k of me!" See now his making me use bad words.

Springing into action I managed to get my hands on his chest and pushed with all my strength. It had worked he stumbled away from me looking dazed. Taking a sniff I realized he was a bit drunk. Oh and a douche to.

"You i***t! what the hell! " I basically screamed in his face.

"God dammit! Answer me!" He just started coming closer to me.

Thats it. I thought.

I clenched my hand in to a fist, looking around now for the first time in a couple of minutes I realized we had an audience the music was turned down a bit and people were giving us curious gazes.

"Oh come on, I'm just trying to have some fun. whats wrong with hooking up?"

"What!?" In the crowd I saw that Jas, had been the one to say 'what' he was making his way to the front of the circle that had been formed. Luckily I didn't have an older brother at home because Jason was defiantly one of those. Before he could make an appearance I took matters into my own hand.

I stepped forward and brought my fist back, then connected it with Connors face. There was a sickening crack. Then silence as it echoed around the room. Now the music was completely off.

"You little-" Connor started but then Jason came into view.

"Peter! I want him out of your party! And you," he said pointing to Connor, "Do not touch her again!"

Connor got of the ground as Peter grabbed on to his arm dragging him towards the door.

"Yes Beta." Peter bowed his head to Jason. While Connor sent glares to me.

"Just look ahead" Peter warned him kicking him out of the house.

The huge circle was still formed waiting to see what happened next. Then out of no where,

"Woooo Go Van!" A few seconds later

"I bet you broke his nose!" "You got him good!" Someone else yelled then before I could register what was happening everyone erupted in cheers, and yelled out compliments some even coming up to me and giving me a pat on the back.

"Quiet down everyone! You may now return to your party." Jason announced. Then everyone scattered away continuing to dance to the music that was once again turned up.

"Wow, schools going to be talking about that for weeks. And I know never to piss you off." Jason said grinning from ear to ear at me.

"I-I, I'm really confused now but I know I need some fresh air." I said making my way over to the door.

"Bye Van!" Jas chuckled going to the dance floor.

By the time I made it past the front lawn and across the house i earned a lot more 'wow's' and 'you go girl!''s. After a ten minute walk I made it to the woods were the border to Downright pack was. But of course I couldn't cross it. There was no where else to walk so i walked along the border keeping a 5 meter permitter away from the border line.

But thats when I caught a scent. A scent that make my knees weak and crave for more. My wolf yelled out one word.

'Mate.'

My legs began sprinting down the border line. The scent was going further away. My wolf whimpered feeling the scent drifting.

'Hurry his going!' My wolf yelled furiously

'I can't! His going that way. I cant cross the border line!' I bit back.

'His your mate! Its acceptable!' She said winning the debate.

I hesitantly put one foot in the air and put it on the other side of the territory. With that i cross the line completely feeling the wind change declaring I had passed the border line. I must hurry though, the wolves from Downright Pack would know my presence by now. Taking of in a sprit i started running to the scent that seemed to get further every time I toke a step. About a good 100 meters into downright territory i heard the unmistakable sound of growls. I was still in my human form and didn't plan on shifting without spare clothes.

Then out of the darkness appeared four wolves and a man in human form only wearing basketball shorts. He had power radiating of him but not as much as an Alpha would. Probably a Beta then.

"Do you have a good reason why you are trespassing, Rogue?" Said the blonde haired man. Just then one of the wolves went behind a tree and shifted, coming back in basketball shorts as well but this one with brown hair.

"Lets just kill it, or take it back to the dungeon i don't have all night." Said the brown haired guy. I'm starting to dislike him already.

"Shut it Jake, Alpha Blake isn't here yet so I'm in charge." He snapped back at the one i assume to be Jake.

"Yes Beta Josh." Said Jake exaggerating the Beta word. So Josh is the beta I was right.

The two that were in wolf form huffed trying to get there attention.

"Right, rogue answer my question." He said looking at me while Jake glared at me.

"Im not a Rogue, I-I'm in Dawn Lake Pack." I said quietly knowing they'd hear me.

"Then what are you doing on our territory, running away or..?" Josh said waiting for me to answer but Jake bet me to it.

"Yeah, I'm sure shes going to be running away in a pretty little dress." He said in a 'duh' tone.

"No, I'm not running away; I caught a sent and-" I started but Jake cut me of, he certainly must be the third in command if he can't out speak Josh but does so to others.

"Thats no excuse to cross the border line!" Jake said raising his voice a bit.

Josh let out a sigh and rubbed his temple looking stressed. "Leon, Marcus; Jake and I will handle this theres no need for the four of us you may leave. " Josh stated as the two wolfs backed away and left.

"Now you, why exactly are you crossing the border line because of a scent?" Josh said looking tired of the situation.

"The smell, i can't describe it but my wolf seems to say its my mates and.... I crossed the border line trying to find it." I said looking down at my feet.

"Do we take her to Alpha Blake to decide or what?" Jake said looking at Josh.

"No, its alright his on his way. His nearly here." He stated

I took a sniff of the air and that scent; my mates was in the air once again. My wolf purred, yep most be my mate.

"T-That scent, can you smell it? Thats the one." I said to Josh and Jake excitement bubbling up inside of me.

"Wait, you mean Alpha Bl- oh that means?" Jake stopped and looked at Josh.

"Maybe, we'll see any second now." With that a man approached us.

And oh, if I say his hot that would be an understatement he was the most handsome being on earth. His black hair made me want to run my hands through it. His deep blue eyes just had me lock in his gaze. Everything around became a blur. So this man Blake is my mate.

"Mate" I heard him growl.

"Well looks like our estimate was right eh, Josh?" Jake said but I was more focused on Blake.

In under a second Blake was in front of me.

"Ive been waiting for you, for so long" he said running his hands through my hair.

I just keep staring him with a smile I don't think i can really form words now.

"Josh, Jake leave." They didn't need to be told twice. They left.

"Whats your name?" He asked

"V-Vanity" I answered. Man I wanna touch him so badly I put my hand on his arm, and oh the electric currents that shot through my body.

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl, oh how long I've waited for you." With that he bent down and kissed me.

If only I could describe how that kiss felt, absolutely amazing. The electric feeling wasn't really helping me to stand upright. This was downright the best feeling.
