Sunday morning
Went to church, got back ate Sunday lunch and then rested. Oh sherbet it's 4 already, choir practice... Today I decided to go the other way to Nicole's house not my usual way. On my way to pick Nicole up I walk past Jose at his ex's house cutting her sisters hair. His almost done... He sees me and waves.. I walk on and reach Nicole's house and to my surprise Jose is behind me. "Hi Rosa how u. I'm good Jose and u. I'm always good, giving me that pearly white smile of his. He starts scratching his head and looks nervous. ROSA..... yes Jose... Can I ask u something. Yes sure. We get Nicole and walk to the bus to get to church for choir practice. Nicole walks In front. Jose and I walk at the back. "Rosa I have been checking you out from the day we met in the street, I really like u and I was hoping you would go out with me??? I'm stunted by what Jose just asked.... Jose I've just come out of a relationship recently and I don't think I'm ready for anything... I also came out of a relationship Rosa we can make it work we can heal one another...
I look at Jose and his waiting for me answer. And just then the bus pulls up.. What's it gonna be.. As I got into the bus, I just said yes to get him off my back cause he was so persistent...
What did I get myself into??? I think as I'm getting into the bus towards my seat. Nicole stares at me. What??? I reply.
Nothing Rosa, nothing... She turns around looking sad. I wonder what that was all about...
