Lisa's POV I stood in front of the small mirror hanging on my bedroom wall and looked at my reflection for what felt like the tenth time that morning. The pale blue dress I was wearing wasn't expensive, but it was the nicest outfit I owned. I had bought it nearly two years ago for a hotel dinner where all the staff were expected to dress formally. Since then, it had remained carefully folded inside my wardrobe, waiting for another occasion that felt important enough. I never imagined that the occasion would be today.
