* no one pov * week later*

about a week later rumor's about the parents returning spread like wild fire. but little did they know hell was about to break loose.

" RYDER PICK UP YOUR BOXER'S FROM THE BATHROOM FLOOR!!! " ashley said as she yelled through out the house looking for ryder. ryder ducked down in her car along with cameron.

" man women on their periods are scary as f**k " ryder said as she peeked over the steering wheel reel only to find ashley mean mugging her from the front of the car. she walked over to the driver side of the car and practically ripped the door from it's hinges and pulled ryder out from the car seat.

" n-now hunny i'm sorry and i will pick them up please let go i'm sorry!" ryder said as she stared at her mate in horror. she watched as ashley had began to think. while she was thinking ryder and cameron snuck out the other side and ran in different directions.

*the next day*

Ryder had walked down the stairs of the school when she notices a crowd.she pushes through to notice jake cornering Ashley against the lockers as his pack holds off our pack/coven while he begins to touch her breast. Ryder speed past them and slam him into the lockers as she lift him with one hand balled up in his shirt.

" Who do you think you are touching my mate in a very inappropriate way" ryder says with venom in her voice.

" what do you mean she will always be my mate no matter if I rejected her or if she accepts one day she might change her mind and come back for some real d**k" he says with a smile like tone as he flips out of her hold and walks off with his pack as his laughter fills the hallway.

" are you ok my my love? Did he hurt you? " Ryder says as she pulls Ashley into her chest and rub her back as she feels her shirt grow wet.

" I hate him so much and yes I'm find he didn't hurt me daddy~" ryder tenses as she hears the last part. Not long after everyone with supernatural like hearing chuckles as the nickname. Ryder growls lowly as she lifts Ashley and uses her vampire speed to run home. Her sisters and Ashley sisters soon follow not far behind as they run into the office.

" Tell us what happened before we showed up" Dallas says as ryder puts Ashley down.

" 30 minutes later Ashley pov*

I walk out of my history class as I walk with my friends to our lockers when I feel a rough hand shove me into the lockers.

" hello my love did you miss me? " jake says with a grin as I tremble with fear "what aren't excited to see me my darling omega " he smirks as my pack/coven walks toward us but was soon stopped by his pack as they form a barrier keeping them out.

" L-let me g-go j-jake " I said with a tone of fear.

" Now why would I do that I just wanna hold my pretty little mate "he said as he gropes my breast. Before I could process he was lifted up against the lockers with Ryder lifting him.

Ryder paced the room just before she punching the window shattering it. She then jumps out the window and speeds off into the forest.

"R-Ryder come back " Ashley yells before she falls to her knees breaking out in tears. Dallas comes over and hugs Ashley before walking out to find someone to fix the window.

" she will come back Ashley have faith she can't stay away for to long" Anna says as she walks over and leans on Ashley letting her cry out her heart.

*ryder pov*

I had stopped at the river as I looked off at the city. I watched the stars thinking about what had happened today. As I get up I hear a branch snap. I look back to see a small human child about 4 or 3 years old.

" hey kid you ok? " I said as I kneel down and hold my hand out.

" a b-big bad m-man hurt my family they won't m-move " she says as she launches herself into my arms and begins to cry. I think about what she said and realized what she meant.

" hey its ok you can come live with me and my huge family in our huge house " I said as I stand up cradling her in my arms. " Hold tight ok " I run home using my vampire speed. I stop at the door and open it as everyone looks at me and a small child.

" W-who is this? " jasmine says as she stares at the child

" m-my name is Scarlett im 10 years old" she looks at Ashley as her eyes light up. " Are you my new mama? "

" you feel the connection to her Ryder " she asks me as she walks up to us.

" yes I do should we tell her "I said and she nods. " Scarlett we aren't human I'm a vampire and shes a wolf we all are either vampires or wolves here and my inner vampire is claiming you as our along with her inner wolf " I said as I looked at her.

" awesome! Y'all are so cool so am I like your daughter now? " she said with a sparkle in her eye and a hint of joy in her voice.

" yes you are our daughter and when the time comes you can decided to stay human or become one of us but for now its bed time for you little one " I say as I carry ber up stairs to my room. I lay her down on the bed and lay next to her as Ashley lays on the other side of her.

" night mama night daddy " she says as she falls asleep.

" night baby girl" Ashley and I say as we drift off to sleep.
