She closed her eyes and sighed, before slowly revealing everything that had happened, how she suddenly became conscious of the fact that she hadn’t yet conceived, and what led her to finding out about her barrenness. Damian listened carefully, letting her take her time. Much to her surprise, he didn’t seem upset by the news, even after she’d laid out everything for him.
