"So, how are both your parents doing?" Jae asked. I heaved a sigh. "I don't know. It's up to both mom and dad to figure out, I guess." "And how about you and Jenna..?" Jae asked reluctantly. I did a slow laugh. "We, uh, drifted apart." I shrugged. "Whatever. I don't need people like her." "An what about you and the queen bee?" "Cindy, Jae." I corrected her. "You can say her name. She's not Voldemort. And we're still in good terms." "Hey," Noah greeted, pulling Jae closer to him and kissing her. "Where's Scott?" I frowned. "I'm not sure. Maybe we should call him?" Jae sighed. "I'll do it." She took out her phone and dialed his number. She then folded his arms, tapping her fingers in the process. "Yeah, Scott hi. Where are you? Why are you not in school?" Jae nodded, then sighed.
