A race against time

Scarlett Stanville is my home. Stanville will always be my home. I can go to anywhere in the world and I will always believe that I am not home until I am surrounded by the familiar streets and people even if now most of those people have died or disappeared and the shops and houses that used to feel so familiar lay in broken heaps everywhere you walk. The roads are hard to navigate and there is no easy way in or out of the town but it is still my home no matter what happens. I will always be drawn back there and I will always feel my heart lurch when I have to leave. Looking at what those bees have done to my home, to my old life, to my childhood I am sad. Everything I have ever cared about will be in Stanville. It is where I grew up and my family history runs back in Stanville history f
