Third Person’s POV (12 yrs. Old)
The leaders and Ken’s parents can’t help but feel nostalgic of the way Ken uses his magic, always creating new spells, even in the heat of battle.
“Eh? She was only blown away? But I thought I had added enough firepower to push her back more, maybe she’s relatively immune to fire? Seems so, since it’s the magic she used, is it her primary magic?
Or I still need to tinker with that spell.” The princess could not fathom why her opponent would speak out their assessment especially about the outcome of their action, she was angry.
“You dare talk about your spell nonchalantly as if it’s a normal occurrence while in battle?! Are you stupid?!” she furiously said. Ken just shrugged his shoulders. The princess held out her hand before chanting…
“Take this! Fire Magic: Destruction balls.” magic circles, the size bigger than her appeared in front of her in columns, a total of fifteen magic circles, some appearing on mid air, it gathered flames into the size relative to the magic circle, before rushing towards Ken in a slow but somewhat normal speed.
This time he could deduce that these relatively big fireballs have much more power than the pillars of flame than before so he decided to evade them, and just as he had thought, the impact of these fireballs are really devastating as he had seen that they not only left a crater on its wake, it had slightly pushed him backwards where he evaded.
Luckily he could not feel any type of damage from the blast radius, only a violent push, so he took bigger leaps on flipping backwards, jumping sideways, forward -but not approaching the princess-, to evade the giant balls of fire from hitting him. He was like a gymnast on the field, performing jumps and rolls and cartwheels.
The princess got really irritated as she could not believe she still hasn’t hit Ken with one of her destruction balls, it should be hard for him, or anyone at that, to evade this attack of hers, but here is someone she unexpectedly encountered who could.
The last destruction ball still didn’t land a hit on Ken as he evaded again, situating himself in front of the Princess, before jumping and flipping back six times, leaving space between them -approximately 7 meters away-.
“My turn, Water Magic: Downpour.” droplets of water appeared on thin, air around and above the princess in a relatively big space before dropping on her and the ground creating a puddle of water on her feet and soaking her.
“Is that the best you can do? It barely even hurt!” -Princess Lang-
“You’ll see, Lightning Magic: Lightning Bolt!” pointing his fore and middle finger from his right hand at the puddle a small magic circle the color of yellow appeared before summoning a lightning bolt directly hitting the princess head on, she screamed at the excruciating pain the lightning gave, and looked angrily at Ken.
“The water blocks the only source of nullifying the lightning so as you could not easily get rid of it.” said Ken, looking at the burnt form of the princess.
“So you toyed with me?! Fight me fair and square!” -Princess Lang-
“Sorry, just testing.” Ken rubbed the back of his hand while the princess who was still electrocuted by the lightning, got even more angry, and in a burst of power and flames, she engulfed her surroundings with fire coming out of her, creating surges of power along with heat to the surroundings, the bystanders weren’t spared by the heat though.
The flames dispersed before she suddenly rushed towards Ken in a leap, forming claws from her sudden outburst of flames, she calls this Fire Magic: Dragon claws, as it had the shape of a dragon’s claw in their beast form, and the explosive magic of fire, a hit from this causes explosion to go out.
As Ken witnessed it when the princess swiped at him down but hitting nothing but air and ground as it exploded beneath her, luckily he evaded just in time, and so the series of evasion and swiping filled the fields as they went from one place to another.
“PRINCESS, DO NOT LET YOUR EMOTIONS TAKE CONTROL OF YOU, YOU NEED TO STAY FOCUS TO FIGHT AND WIN!” the one who spoke was none other than the butler of the princess, who had a small smile on his face as he watched his princess fight.
Princess Lang heard her butler’s voice and was shaken out of her state, she abruptly stopped pursuing Ken and dispersed the claws of flames, before closing her eyes, taking a deep breath and then exhaled before opening her eyes again, and thought to herself to focus on the fight and use her head to win through it.
She took a stance pressing her feet close to one another, her arms raised relatively high at her side, closed her eyes, as she summoned a much bigger magic circle beneath her feet, bigger as in it even engulfed the ground Ken was standing on,
Four more magic circles appeared from her, three revolved around her while the other positioned on top of her, she began to chant a spell which Ken could not hear.
All of a sudden a bright light emitted from the five magic circles before the princess opened her eyes, the color having changed to white, and said…
“Fire Grand Magic: Star Flare.” A big explosion of flames erupted with her as the center but wasn’t harmed as it covered the entire field with its blast, the ground shook hard similar to that of an earthquake occurring but only a short moment.
The people outside of the field would have been involved if it had not been for the barrier they had set up, but unfortunately for them, they were swept of their feet, good thing Klein escaped outside the barrier before the spell could be completed making him also fall on his feet.
As everyone rose up, they looked around them and saw that the field was completely devastated, the ground was covered in black with flames burning here and there, but there at the center of the blast, the princess was fine but looking perplexed, they looked at the direction the princess was looking at and was shocked out of their wits.
A ball of ice and water with snow and water revolving around it was floating on mid-air, Ken was nowhere to be found, but the villagers were familiar with this spell. Ken’s defensive Ice and Water Magic: Frozen World, to which he categorized as a type of grand magic that has the possibility of completely defending the caster from being hurt or damaged from outer attacks or spells.
Slowly but surely the ice and water flowed towards the side of the caster which is Ken, creating two sets of wings with the ice wings shaped like bones on the top part making snow fall, and the water wings shaped like flowing water, with residues of water flowing out of it,
Ken floated softly on the ground and dispersed his ice and water wings before smiling towards the princess, and said…
“I never thought you’d make me use one of my Grand Magic, but it’s to be expected of a princess, would you be so kind as to witness firsthand another one of my Grand Magic? I would be deeply honored.” before the princess could utter a word, her surroundings suddenly and in an instant froze creating an ice floor, the edges of the ice didn’t penetrate the barrier.
Ken floated in mid-air snow floating around him before he chanted…
“Ice Grand Magic: Ice Field.” Ice blasts occurred everywhere starting from Ken and then expanded outwards to the barrier before stopping, followed by a wave of falling frosty ice that explodes upon impact on random locations once, and lastly fifteen giant ice balls fell down from the sky, and upon impact blasts and freezes anyone caught in the blast.
A bright white light occurred from the giant ice balls as they fell simultaneously, blinding everyone for a few seconds, before regaining back their eyesight, they looked at the field in all white as ice shards found here and there,
But one particular sight caught their attention, it was a barrier of fire, a big one at that and on mid-air was Ken, below him was the princess with her eyes closed, unharmed.
“You can open your eyes now.” Ken said as he dispersed the fire barrier, and floated down on the ground in front of the princess, the onlookers can see clearly now what’s happening inside after the barrier of fire disappeared.
“Wha… How did you… Why did you save me?” Princess Lang asked, shocked in her mind.
“I wouldn’t want to injure a very talented individual, and besides we’re going to be fellow disciples, I do not go as far as hurting my companions, although I couldn’t say the same with our boys.” He offered her a smile, and a tilt of his head on the side.
Everyone was dumbfounded of the events that unfolded before them, and on that night when the feast was finally in motion after an afternoon of cleaning up, the training grounds looked as if the battle didn’t happen at all, and now here they are at the cave of the continental snake enjoying themselves.
And to add a little bit more spice on the party, Ken did another spell that awed everyone, by the use of fire magic, and his power of concept, he recreated the dazzling scene of fireworks, lighting up in the night in colorful and enchanting lights before disappearing out of sight.
Countless fireworks were chanted by Ken, and later on, was accompanied by others -which were Ken’s first companions and co-disciples-, as they displayed their magic in a beautiful array of spells.
The guests were delighted with the scenes in play, the dragons can’t help but be stunned in awe as they watched the colorful light show, but more importantly on the child, who commenced it all.
