Pagkatapos ng event ay kaagad na nagtungo si Bernard sa kinaroroonan ni Clarissa. Clarissa was wearing that snub face and is fuming mad now.
"Hoy, lalaki! You planned all this, didn't you?" pabulyaw na tawag ng dalaga sa kanya. Matapos ay lumapit ito sa kanya at akmang sasampalin ngunit nasagi naman iyon ni Bernard.
"What's with the ruckus, Babe?" mapang asar nitong bati sa dalaga. "Didn't you liked my present?" animoy lalong pa nitong pinapainit ang ulo ng dalaga.
"Alam mo ikaw, malas ka talaga ee! Why did I even met you? Ano bang nagawa kong mali to meet such a monster like you?!"
Nagkunot noo naman si Bernard at binitiwan ang kamay ng dalaga "Or maybe, we really are destined together? Siguro tayo talaga ang pinagtagpo ng tadhana upang magmahalan" at nginitian niya ito.
Natawa si Clarissa. "Magmahal? Really? I know what games you are trying to play here, Mr. Valderama and I am not stupid not to know. I know you just want to get your revenge sa nangyari sa atin sa isla!"
"Now that you've mentioned it, I have not got the payment for that! I almost forgot." he said
"What? Hindi pa ba ako bayad sa'yo? You got your revenge, so what do you want now?" she started to feel nervous.
Dahan dahang lumakad papalapit si Bernard kay Clarissa. Stomps of his shoe is heard around the convention hall.
"Do you really want to know?" his voice became thicker richer and... sexier! Unti unti pa siya lumapit rito, ngunit napapatras naman ang dalaga. Sa kada hakbang palapit ni Bernard ay siya naman ang pag atras niya.
She reached the wall side and she can't revert.
Is he going to rape her? Their eyes met in unison. A sudden jolt of that electrocuting sensation is burning her again. Under a silhouette light from a distance, she can see his well defined facial structure. His red lips are even more captivating, sending signals of invite to her and that tortures her. Her sweat run smooth on her face.
"No. You won't do this!" ito lamang ang salita naibigkas niya.
"Are you thinking that I will do something bad to you?" then he stretched his hands palm facing the wall.
Napalunok siya Clarissa, ngunit ramdam pa rin niya ang panunuyo ng kanyang lalamunan.
"So ano? What do you want?" casual na tanong nito.
"Dinner with me. Tomorrow at 6pm."
"Why would I go dinner with you? And what if I don't want to?" mapunayang tanong ni Clarissa.
He smirked. His sound depicts confidence.
"I just happened to know that your dad signed an agreement that would strengthen your companies ties with my network. And you wouldn't want to dissapoint him if I drop the contract because of you" he muttered.
Clarissa thought of her dad's smile earlier. His smile was natural, it was her first time to see him like that. She intends him to be like that. Kahit na controlling ang ama niya sa kanya ay mahal niya ito. No matter how stern and solid he is when it comes to her, she can't deny that she loved her dad.
Labag man sa loob niya ay pumayag na siya sa gusto ng binata. He has the right tools to retaliate and she cannot escape. But knowing one thing must remain - she would not let the man outsmart her. Hahanap at hahanap siya ng paraan para mauungusan ang binata.
MADALING araw na nung makauwi si Bernard sa kanyang condo. He automatically grab a beer in his ref. He can't avert his imagination off especially when his body came closer with Clarissa. How he wants to kiss her red lips at that moment. The way she protest attracts him more. He just went off and had s*x with one of his woman to ease the need that he is feeling, pero matindi talaga pananais na niya na maangkin ang dalaga.
Idinantay niya ang kanyang sarili sa couch sofa. Still thinking of how he can easily get into her.
"Soon, I will have you. Every bits of you." he said to himself.

"Wow! Grabe, Clang. As in I am so shocked right now" lintanya ni Zea. Nasa cafe sila sa Makati having their breakfast.
"Like you are engaged again, but for the record, this is a comolete surprise!" hindi pa rin ito makapaniwala sa ipinakita ni Clarissa sa kanya.
Clarissa is holding on a ring that Bernard gave her last night. Matapos ng gabi ay agad niya itong tinaggal, ngunit hindi niya itatapon. Kahit naman ayaw niya magpakasal sa binata ay ibig sabihin ay itatapon niya ang singsing. Sa pakiwari ng dalaga ay tunay na diamond ito.
"Alam mo ba Zea, I saw my dad's genuinely happy last night." she said while looking intently on the ring.
"Oh, talaga ba? That's good!" Zea while sipping her cold serve.
"Anong good dun? He was happy seeing me with Bernard, how could that be good?"
"Uhm, well yeah. You have a point. Pero 'di ba magandang pagkakataon ito para mas mapasaya mo ang daddy mo and at the same time you find time to ditch Bernard? That's your plan di' ba?"
"But if I ditch him, It might turned out to be a disaster. Ayoko naman mag cause ng shock to my dad. Knowing him, may highblood siya." alalang turan nito sa sarili.
"Then play victim then! You know what, I have written a lot of novels na includes the situation you are in now. Whenever a woman wants to ditch a man, you turn the situation, 360 degrees!"
It somehow picked her interest. At some point, Zea is really a good help at these times. Magaling itong magsulat and it sure will help her in the next skim.
"Play victim, huh?"
And she now know what to do. A simple skim and a little drama would end her misery. But she has to plan well. She needs to do it in clandestine and she is sure it will work.
"Oh, natulala ka diyan?" ani Zea sa kaibigan.
"Oh, just nothing. Anyway, Zea. Matagal na akong hindi nagbabasa ng mga books mo? Care to share me your best paperback?"
"Wow ah. Kailan ka pa nag ka-interes sa mga sinusulat ko? Ikaw na nga nagsabi na korni lahat ito dati nung college days natin?" taning ni Zea
"Alam mo, ang drama mo! Syempre bilang kaibigan mo I will support your works. Eh alam mo naman ako na I am not really a fairy tale fan, pero when it comes to novel with realistic happenings, I am a good reader." tanggol na ni Zea sa sarili.
"Okay na, you won me there. I will give you one of my best sellers, but you have to promise me that you give me a feddback after you read it ha? It what's keeping me driven to write eh."
"Okay, no worries!"
Now that she has an edge, all she needs is to learn victim and it will be easier for her to ditch Bernard out of her life without giving her dad a heart attack. She still knew how to act and so it will test her acting skills.
"Well see how you can beat me this time, Bernard Valderama..." and she smiled.
