Chapter 11 : Challenge from George the Tough Gargoyle

 Meanwhile in another place, or rather in the apartment building where Oliver lived, because it was late at night the atmosphere there was quite silence. That night, in the basement of that apartment building, there was a woman who was driving a car, and it looks like she just got back from work. After he parked his vehicle in that basement, he immediately got out of her car and walked to the elevator door to go upstairs and return to his room. That night, he thought that everything would be fine just like the previous nights, but unfortunately at that time there was a creature who was stalking her from a distance, and the figure was getting closer and closer.

 While walking, a cold and tense atmosphere began to be felt by the woman, because she felt that there was a figure watching her from behind a concrete pillar, then she tried to check the situation around her, but she did not find any presence of anyone, so after that she walked back towards the elevator doors but this time with a brisk pace. While walking, the woman occasionally looked back so that she could anticipate the figure who was still watching her. Then he was surprised by the presence of this figure who is actually crawling above wall. The figure appeared as from behind the darkness, with a scary face and a terrifying body. Therefore, the woman who felt panic immediately ran to save her life from that monster figure.

 But before the woman reached the elevator door, the Creepy monster who had been stalking her, suddenly moved quickly and then pounced on the woman violently, so that a very loud scream finally sounded in all directions, even up to the 4th floor of the apartment building.

 The next day, the residents of the apartment were shocked by the discovery of the body of a woman in the parking lot basement, who had died in a state of shreds. So now the situation in the apartment has become upefoar and crowded with many people. Police cars and ambulances came to the scene of the crime, officers immediately gave parimeter and secured the area around, while the coroner officers tried to examine and investigate the findings of the body. The atmosphere there was completely filled with people who were both curious and terrified, while the relatives and friends of the woman victim never stopped screaming and crying lamenting the death of their loved ones in that place.

 The police, who examined the CCTV footage from last night's incident, stated that the camera suddenly turned off by itself when the attack happen, so the perpetrator of the attack is still a mystery.

Then quickly the news began to spread to everyone through social media and news media, so the public was made shocking and busy by that incident, and finally the news reached Kevin. Then without thinking, Kevin immediately contacted Oliver.

 It took a long time for Kevin to be able to contact Oliver, because several times Oliver did not pick up the phone calls from him, but finally Kevin were able to connect to Oliver.

 "Hello."

 "Yes Kevin, what's wrong?" Asked Oliver in a low voice.

 "Have you heard about the news?”

 “What news?” Oliver asked in confusion.

 “It’s about the incident in your apartment building?"

 "What? No, not yet, what happened?"

 "Where are you currently?" Asked Kevin who was curious because Oliver didn’t know about the news.

 Then Oliver replied, "I am currently lying in the bushes near the river area."

 What Oliver said was true, because right now he was lying in the bush, and in the state of exhausted and covered in wounds.

 "What?? Why are you there? " Asked Kevin.

 “Yesterday when I just on my way home from work, there were 10 gargoyle monsters that blocked me and attacked me on the road, then I fought them all out, until I managed to beat them all… But because my stamina was exhausted, I passed out in this place. " Said Oliver.

 "O- oh ..." Now Kevin understood why Oliver didn't know about the attack that took place in his apartment. It seems that because an enemy attacked Oliver on the road, yesterday Oliver could not return to his house.

 "Um, Kevin. Can I ask for help? " Asked Oliver.

 "Yes, of course."

 "Please pick me up, and bring some food here." Oliver asks Kevin for help.

 "Okay, I'll be right there." Then Kevin hurried off to where Oliver was.

 "You better wait until I recover first, other than that we can't just suddenly come to their place without any preparation, we need a well-thought plan so we can beat George and his men." Oliver said anxiously.

 "Don't worry, now I have this." Kevin said while showing his weapon, which is a black pistol with a green stripe that looks great.

 "Wow, what is that ??" Asked Oliver with an amazed expression.

 “This is a legacy from my father, with this gun I can defeat even dozens of monsters with ease. Plus now my power has awakened too. " Said Kevin.

 "But, a- are you sure we should come to George's headquarters right now?" Oliver still looked doubtful.

 "We can't keep waiting. We must act immediately. If we let George continue his action, then he will do even worse things. Besides, only we who can fight and defeat him ... But if you are still not ready to fight, then you better go home and rest now, let me go to George's headquarters alone. " Kevin said with determination.

 “Hmm, my condition has gradually improved. And in any case, of course I will help you on there, so let's go. " Take Oliver who looks very ready, because now his stomach is filled.

 "Kevin get ready." Said Oliver as he took off his clothes and then he turned his form into a gargoyle monster.

 "Yes, of course." Kevin replied, while preparing the gun.

 Then, the figures of creepy creatures began to emerge from behind the darkness, namely the gargoyles who were George's subordinates, they came out from behind poles, from behind walls, from behind trees, and so on. They all appeared from different directions, and came swarming over Kevin and Oliver like doves to breadcrumbs.

 They all seemed unwilling to speak or negotiate first, because their grudges against Kevin and Oliver were enormous. This was due to Kevin's actions who had caused trouble for their group, so at that time they had to lose many friends in the dock area. In addition, George also gave orders to his men to immediately kill Kevin and Oliver when they both came to the place.

 However, suddenly they all stopped, when Kevin shot one of the Gargoyles right in the head, causing the Gargoyle to die instantly and then lying on the ground. This made the other gargoyles immediately feel very stunned, because they did not expect that Kevin had a gun that could shoot bullets through the gargoyles' skin so hard. It made them wonder, who is Kevin? And how dangerous is he?

 However, even though their footsteps had stopped for a while, they continued to attack Kevin and Oliver, because their job was to finish off the target, and they all had the advantage in terms of numbers, besides that they also wouldn't be careless in anticipating every shot attacks from Kevin, using the agile movements they have, they will try their best to be able to dodge and then give Kevin a crushing attack. But they also shouldn't forget that there is Oliver who is ready to protect Kevin.

 Then the fierce battle finally started. Quickly, Oliver acts to beat every Gargoyle who tries to get close to Kevin, he blocks every deadly attack from them by using his Muay Thai martial arts skills. In addition, Oliver's speed and agility are also not inferior to other Gargoyles, so he deserves to be called the Gargoyle who is the most troublesome for his own race.
