CHAPTER THREEWhen Amina was going down to breakfast the next morning, she was wondering what the day held for her. She had been very tired the previous night and had not bothered her uncle with any more questions. She thought it was unfair and anyway she wanted to think over what she should do. Sir James was already at the breakfast table reading a newspaper when his niece entered. “Good morning, Amina!” he greeted her. “Did you sleep well?” “Not very.” she answered. “I was wondering, as I expect you were, as to just how we should set off on this extraordinary and unusual adventure.” Her uncle laughed. “Sit down and I will tell you what I have planned,” he said.
